I went into the bookstore for max two books. Take a guess at how many I left with? 5. Books are my crack dude. I watch like 3 shows on TV but my freaking bookcase is about to run out of room.

I worked 16 hours OT this week. I think I can indulge myself a little.

Some bad shit has happened to me recently, but in the last week the woman I'm seeing was sexually assaulted and very nearly raped. Thankfully, she managed to kick her attacker, making him scream in pain, and someone interrupted the situation. Some other stuff happened, I can't go into details, but so much more happened than I am able to mention here.

It has been a really tough time anyway. I'm sure if I was to go over again what has happened to both of us, it would just seem like I was making it up for attention. Unfortunately, it is all true.

I don't know what I feel. I'm not sure if I feel upset. I just feel empty. I'm not sure what I feel, it's a weird feeling.

I will come back in a couple of months when I have some good news. I can't discuss off-topic things now because nothing good is happening, and I'm really not in the right frame of mind to discuss PPD topics at the moment, and I don't know if I'm really going to feel like it in the future.

Of course, I was already aware that women run the gamut of danger just by being female. But after what has happened to the last two women I've dated, I don't know if I will ever view the world in the same way again.

I just feel a bit weird at the moment, a bit sad. I will get over it soon, but I don't see why I would be discussing dating topics currently. Hope things go well for everyone else.

The vet just had to put my cat down. He was suffering from heart failure and could barely move. It was the right thing to do and I'm glad he's no longer suffering but I'll miss him :(

I was going to make a thread but I think it fits better here. I really like this place, one of the most free discussion areas you can have on reddit no matter where you are politically or otherwise. It's very, very hard to find this on the internet even if you have a friend groupchat, etc. It's great! But

"No Circlejerking" is listed in the rules, but I see it a lot.

Seen a lot of posts lately where people dunk on strawmen they've made up in their head, and those who are likeminded tend to reply and add on to it, or agree, etc. Anyone else notice this? It's more irritating than a lot of the really far out there premises I see set in "CMV" threads.

I had this same experience many many times back when I was a pretty hard core terpo. I'd read their shit, in my anger at getting divorced, but always have to stop and think. That's not how relationships actually work. Or my God when terpospherians would make posts about sex? I'd be left thinking, is this what a virgin thinks with his second girlfriend?

And my God the vanity and ego of men. Men, you are not the best guy. You are probably not even the average guy. I know that hurts. But you will never be able to actually change if you can't kill that ego and accept who and what you actually are. And just start being yourself.

Something women actually love.

I listened to a podcast today by some manospherian who claimed, who projected, so hard, that the ego and vanity of women was going to wreck society. He was so unaware of himself, twisted up in this childish belief that he was great, a master, a secret lord, no matter what, that he never even realized he was not talking about women. He was talking about himself.

Male vanity and the male ego will be our destruction. And men will project this onto women, and blame women, and claim they have no ego, no massive ego, while projecting all of their own faults onto women, all while being completely and utterly unaware, as confused women say honestly back. But I'm not like that.

Of course you aren't. He is. So of course, he blames it on you.

Reflection: I know I should be meditating more, but I don't want to because it would increase my compassion for the mindless thots on PPD. Reading another person's thoughts to yourself can be just about the most irritating thing of all. But they're just thoughts, so what's the big deal anyway. What do I have to gain from correcting another person's wrong thoughts if I don't actually care about them?

Spent the weekend rattling cold turkey off oxy. Finally got some dihydrocodeine to taper down with which is already helping a fuckload. Why do I keep torturing myself like this? Man fuck oxy. I was doing some thinking, and I find it funny how MGTOWers (some, not all) think that western women are going to be shaking in their little boots when they can't find a husband, or when people reply to my mostly facetious comments that I'll never get a man or w/e.

People's worldviews are so limited. When my friend who's basically just like me lookswise (7-8) goes to mexico, she gets guys that literally propose to her on sight. Same thing happens to me when I go to any baile or quince. After me and my ex boyfriend broke up, his little friend came in there like captain save a hoe trying to take me out on actual Dates, trying to buy me jewelry, sending me mile long paragraphs about how Beautiful I am and how I need a Real Man (I declined, too much drama). Eastern European men seem pretty eager to step in too. I think all the Carols of the world should know they can easily find a Jorge or Sergei that will build them a house, give them 3 or 4 kids, and buy them gucci purses.

I think this is pretty analogous to the whole "Thai/vietnamese/chinese women are more feminine blah blah blah they know how to respect men" tripe. Idk if this warrants a full post but I just thought this was interesting.

I lost a large amount of weight and despite looking good in clothes, I have some loose skin(pic album attached). I’ve had it happen where women were into me but then grossed out by my skin. What’s your advice to deal with this? How bad is my skin?
