If there's one solid piece of military advice hugely valid in any argument or conflict, it's this: Empathize with your enemy. Understand how they think. Learn about them. Without doing so, you'll never understand how to defeat them.

This is a desirable thing to do, *even when you think the other side is 100% your enemy*. It goes without saying that if you do not view them as enemies, then coming to connection and understanding is desirable.

Of course, as evidenced by this being one of the few places where people actually come to debate different sides of something, this is not the way a lot of people seem to think. So what are they doing? What are their goals? To what degree do you think feminist, manosphere, Red Pill, Blue Pill, etc. people are really about achieving a goal? How many just like feeling good, and would pass up the chance to learn about their 'enemy' if it took them temporarily out of their comfort zone? How many actually care about seeing everyone happy? What do you think the percentages are?
