Do you want sexual access? If so, then no women shouldn’t be put on a pedestal. It’s irrational to put women on a pedestal when they desire to be conquered. Offended by that statement? You shouldn’t be. This is a pretty non-controversial thing to say in academic psychology.

Define "do well in life." Women on average will have more capable performers because they will not have the variability men have, which also means the high end achievers progressing society along will be men.

Most women aren't accomplishing anything either, you're just focusing on the top whatever % as well. If women are more beautiful, why do they wear makeup and men do not? Also, more sociable and likable is *highly* debatable, as are the rest of your unsubstantiated claims.

It intrigues me how the feminists who decry "the wage gap" openly celebrate women earning more than men. Could this possibly be due to the restructuring of schools in the 90s to benefit girls over boys and affirmative action programs in universities and employment?

To be fair that "earning more than men" study was in, like, one city and it was for people in their early 20's. Men start passing women a little later than that (look it up).

Also the whole "women are doted on" thing is a huge double edged sword. Society also views women as less capable because of this.

Take a look at this site: http://graphics.wsj.com/what-percent/ and then scroll the bar to $100,000. It'll show you that, if you are a man, you are in the top 12th percentile of earnings. If you are a woman ... you're at the 5th percentile. In other words, there's about 2.4 men earning more than $100k for every woman earning more than $100k.

Seems like a broad brush to paint. I can think of plenty of overweight, unattractive women. I can also think of lots of pretty ones. Depending on which part of the female population you're focused on, along with the fact that women use makeup to *appear* more attractive than they actually are, along with the fact that testosterone causes men to be more attracted to women than women are to men, and it gets really complicated. Gay men seem to really like men as much as straight men like women, so who knows. Given that you're a man, I think you're in a poor position to make that claim and act like it's objective.

It's not deserved because if most men grew up being coddled in every social respect and constantly obtaining positive reinforcement, not to mention easily getting others to do favors for them, with women being on the other side of the fence, the results would be reversed. It's men who built civilization, corporate jobs and markets to begin with.

Women as the gatekeeper that needs fertilizing have indeed evolved to be more of an eye-candy and even improve that attribute over generations genetically, while men genes do not. And if by more "social" you mean prone to herd mentality, ingroup bias and hen pack behavior within their own gender, sure. And then any male that wishes to obtain their attention must adapt his own behavior to their needs, which in turn creates greater and greater splits between male social stratas. "Likable", I beg to differ. If they had no tits and vaginas, most men would not "like" them at all. They'd get the same treatment that MTF transsexuals do. All of that is inborn, nothing "deserved".

And rational? What the hell is rational about pedestalizing someone who perpetuates your social subjugation? Would a black slave "rationally" pedestalize a slave owner?

I think it's true that women are more responsible: doing well in school, getting jobs, being nice to others, compassionate, not doing too much drugs or too much crimes, and they are more sociable. In Canada women are also slimmer than men, so I would say they exercise more and eat better here. When it comes to family, women do most of the childcare and housework, even when they earn more than their partner. Women are just really selfless. It's good to see someone acknowledge these things.

I still think men deserve the same rights, no worry about that. I think they should get less prison and more help, etc. But they have an inflated ego on average so they aren't about to put women on a pedestal. They still think they are superior.

People are not "becoming" this or that. People are raised to be the way they are.

I always find it funny the cognitive dissonace in believing that any lack or decrease in a woman's performance is due patriarchal reenforcement, but we completelly blame men for their own problems and performance.

It's almost as if there's no societal pressure that could conditionate men's life.

Oh, you are referring about that census were young women (18-25) are LESS UNEMPLOYED and RECEIVE MORE than men in the UK?

Yeah, it makes sense, young women study more years (not looking for job) and they are, as you say, beautiful, helping them get a job easier (because they are beautiful) with a college degree.

Men on the other side do not have inherent value so they, or do not study so much, earning low income jobs/being unemployed, or they study for a high wage work which takes more years (Engineering for example) or open their own companies.

So men surpass women when they hit 30.

Young women are already worshiped my friend, they are still beautiful. IF this continued past "the wall" (i hate this name) then your idea would make sense.

Another thing. If you want to worship the women, it is up to you, but at least be real on why you worship them, you like beautiful women, not their careers, it has nothing to do with rationality. To have to have to find runarounds is not helping your cause.

Women aren't accomplishing these things themselves, they are being given these things. They are simply following in men's footsteps.

Let me put it this way, say that Person A builds the very first flying car. Person B comes along and starts improving on the flying car. Now, since society has recognized the importance of the flying car designed by person A, at this point, society has given Person B financial assistance, education and resources that were not available to person A, and, in fact, are still not available to person A. Does that mean that Person B should be praised more than person A?

Women earning more money than millenial men doesn't mean that women are accomplishing anything. The truth is that women are advantaged in the workplace. The modern workplace, while a tolerable place for men, is designed for women's success. Modern labour laws are designed for women's success. Labour laws push women forward by forcing men to compensate for women's shortcomings. It's like, imagine you and your friend running with a bag of equal weight, then someone comes in, takes a quarter of the weight from your friend's bag and puts it into yours, is it really a surprise that you start lagging behind your friend?

Men are checking out because society vilifies them. This antagonisation of the male gender coupled with society forcing men to pay for women's shortcomings while also managing their own shortcomings is creating a "hopeless" situation for men.

Women aren't treading new ground, they are trying to reach the end of path that was already paved by men. In addition, women didn't do this themselves, the only reason they got to where they are is regulation. Regulation that transferred women's difficulties to men and forced men to compensate for women's shortcomings. Think about the gender quota in the board room. What do you think happens when corporations are forced to elect based on gender instead of qualifications. The male directors have to compensate. Remember that experiment in Australia that designed a hiring process that kept the candidate's genders anonymous? It proved that when gender is not anonymous, there is a selection bias. In other words, if a male and female candidate possess the exact same set of skills, education and experience, women are more likely to be hired simply because they are women. Think about the gynocentric curriculum in our schools. Men are being forced into environments of learning that were designed to ensure that women succeed, and men are being expected to simply "deal with it". I can go on and on and on. These are examples that show you that women, in general, are undeserving of praise for their accomplishments. You don't award the top prize to a person who drove to the finishing line in a race where all the other candidates had to run.

After being raised by single moms affected by narcissism, in a society that defines masculinity as a crime, drugging boys down because they don’t behave like girls and feeding them soya, you’ll end up with douchebags.
