The title is a dumb question, but I think it's important for us to clarify what we mean when we say the word status in this subreddit. I already described status in my comments in here. As you can see in that thread I think status is an achievement, and is relative with regards to it's usefulness in attracting women(or men). However, as I lurk more in this subreddit, it seems that the word status means to be specifically financial status, whether a man is rich or poor.

With the way people in here describe the effect of status on women, I think it's time for us to have a discussion what it is, and it's relevance in terms of romantic attraction.
