CMV: Sex is inherently not intellectual, which is why people who are overly intellectual have difficulty getting sex.

Now, before anyone starts talking about how the most attractive guy ever was so smart, lets look at the definition of intellect.

So intellect means to view things and attempt to understand them through reason, and specifically objectivity.

In reality, sex works the exact opposite. Sex, sexuality, and attraction work off of feelings, urges, emotions, all of which operate outside of systems of reason and objectivity. You can't understand someone's sexual feelings through a lens of reason. There probably isn't a logical reason why some women like to feel protected with a muscular man when we have police officers with guns to protect us. But they do.

What often happens with big intellectuals is that they see getting sex as a problem, and attempt to come up with a solution. They approach it from a place without personal desires and urges. They try to satisfy, and fix, rather than coming from a place of "this is what i want", and expressing those desires.

NOTE: Just because someone eventually marries someone doesn't mean they have no difficulty getting sex. Please take this into consideration before responding.
