You have misinterpreted the RP philosophy. RP does not assert that women dole out sex to men that they think are sexually attractive in order to get them to commit. They share their sexual energy with those men because they enjoy sex and find them sexually attractive.

RP does, however, add an analysis of the fundamental drivers to that sexual attraction - women sub-consciously find certain looks and behavior sets symbolic of genetic fitness and are thus sexually attracted to men who exhibit them.

That most women don't have a spontaneous sex drive. High responsive sex drive woman gets a kiss on the neck gets turned on and wants sex. Low responsive sex drive needs more stimulation to get into the mood. High spontaneous sex drive woman just gets into the mood like that and then initiates.

Yes they do but not as consistently as men, and their sex drive seems to kick in when they are attracted to a man, as opposed to spontaneously out of nowhere and consistently the way men's does.

Women for the most part, only have sex with someone who they are attracted to, that is reactive. They reward a man because of this attraction and that is why men work to be attractive as possible. Occasionally a man will get sex because he is good enough in a particular situation but it usually isn't an optimal sexual experience for either party.

I don't believe that "wanting sex for its own sake" or any other desire along that spectrum is specific to men or women.

However, given that men don't get approached constantly as soon as they hit puberty, I can see how "sex for its own sake" retains its novelty for men later on in life. Sex never stops feeling like this elusive prize, and when you finally get it, it validates you.

Women, on the other hand, get approached/solicited much more frequently. This likely gives them a different perspective on the issue, since the novelty of this form of "validation" would wear off much more quickly and women would realize earlier on in life that sex "for its own sake" isn't that special. The elusive prize for them is a relationship -- a guy who isn't just trying to use them.

There's also the fact that casual sex may not be all that physically gratifying for most women because they can't reach orgasm from having random penis drunkenly thrust into them. For a man to give the average woman an orgasm, he has to have a higher level of familiarity with her body. Which leads women to have more satisfying sex in relationships anyway, perhaps causing them to be more willing to leave casual sex behind.

Everyone gets horny, it's just that nowadays (in general) women have SO many options that when they DO get horny they can just choose someone who's exhuming alpha behaviors (ie. has game). Beyond that, it's really that "alpha behaviors" (game) get's girls wet and "beta behaviors" (doesn't know how to flirt) dries them up. So.....it's not exactly that they "dole it out to alphas" its that they get turned on and these guys keep them wet and know how to lead them to the bedroom in a cool non-awkward way.

What do you really mean when you ask that? Because.....think about when you masturbate. You probably think about some super sexy chick doing nasty shit. Aka, a hot chick that knows how to get you off. Girls are the same way. When they want to fuck, they're looking for a hot guy (ie. can turn them on [game]) that knows how to get them off. Like, why would anyone want to have shitty sex with some awkward virgin (guy or girl). I'd just rather jack off and sleep than deal with that.

I've never heard the phrase before but if I had to take a guess.....It means that women are in tune with the environment around them. So, if a guy is gaming them and knows what he's doing he'll be able to turn her on and fuck her. And if she's getting talked to by some creep that she doesn't like, it'll ruin her mood. But I don't think thats any different from guys i'f I'm talking to a hot chick I will get a boner, if I'm talking to an ugly girl I'll get slightly annoyed.

I definitely think women want sex for their own sake, just with the top 20% of men. I also think their sex drives are lower than men's. There's women out there who also use sex as a manipulation tool, but there's probably a person out there that would actually make them enjoy sex. Probably someone in the 1%.

Those of us who personally know alpha chads and witness women practically lifting their skirts up for them come to the conclusion that yea, women do very much enjoy sex for its own sake - just with the right kind of man. Rarely. Maybe 5% or 10% want a shag for its own sake. The rest want sex as part of emotional intimacy or in pursuit of resources and such. I am talking from first hand experience which involves a limited sample size, but large enough to draw some conclusions.
