In "10 things I hate about you" Julia stiles is un attracted to the manbabies she has to put up with on a regular basis. In comes "bad boy" Heath Ledger who blasts through her shit tests, maintains frame, doesn't take "no" for an answer (itself a shit test), employs amused mastery throughout, and works through her ASD until she's giggly and flustered and aggressively turned on by his masculine precence above her.

Bloopers think that RP men will come across as needy and aggressively forward and very obviously employ PUA tactics that they think they'd be able to pick up. That's wrong. RP men are all very different and get to their goals differently, but they will nearly always have that chill, stoic, masculine persona Heath presents during that movie. It's a good example of "not giving a fuck" and getting the girl because of it. He even does the beta thing of singing her a song and instead of being creeped out she finds it endearing because he plays it off as a ridiculous paradical joke. To the girls that I screw, from meeting to end I'm closer to Heath in that movie than I am to the bad boy jock Chad antagonist that blooped imagine us to be.

A lot of movies from the 1980s might fit the bill. One example might be The Breakfast Club, where the girls in the movie are attracted to the violent criminal and the brutal jock, while the gentle, soft-spoken geek is passed over. Another John Hughes example might be Sixteen Candles, where the main character (Samantha) is attracted to the wealthy, tall, muscular Jake, even though there's an obnoxious geek who's attracted to her (yet is instrumental in bringing Jake and Samantha together).

Then there's also Revenge of the Nerds, which was a parody of the social scene and the jocks/nerds dichotomy that existed back then (and still exists today). Now, there was a satire that puts the Blue Pill version of "satire" to shame.

It's also interesting to see how these movies are evaluated by millennials from a 21st century perspective. (Read the IMDb message boards for these movies to get a feel for modern reactions.) While the core message in Revenge of the Nerds is tolerance and acceptance regardless of how one looks or acts, this lesson is completely lost on most millennials, who fixate on the scene where "Lewis raped Betty." Back in the 1980s, most audiences sided with the Nerds, whereas today, most millennials who see that movie side with the Jocks. This movie might be considered an RP/BP litmus test of sorts.

The Loneliest Planet (2011)

This guy and his gf have a happy and sweet relationship. He's a nice, attractive beta with no real skills when it comes to things like survival or protection. But, this has never been an issue before because they've never been faced with a situation where his gf would need protecting.

In the movie, they go on vacation to Georgia (the country) and hike through the mountains with a tour guide. At one point, they meet a group of somewhat hostile men with guns. The couple stands to the side while the tour guide tries to defuse the situation in their language (which they can't understand). The boyfriend chimes in after a bit just to ask what's going on and one of the gunmen suddenly whips around and turns the gun on him.

The boyfriend's first reaction is to shove his gf in front of him. Which he immediately corrects by moving her behind him, but it's obviously too late. The damage has been done and the rest of the movie is about them coping with that while never addressing it.

Her tour guide also rescues her later in the film when they're crossing a river. She eventually cheats on her boyfriend and sleeps with the tour guide. At least, that's what my bf told me. The concept for this movie was interesting but it was painfully slow and not well executed at all so I couldn't finish it. But the RP themes are totally there. She lost attraction for her boyfriend when she saw how weak he was capable of being when she really needed him. The tour guide exemplified the capable alpha who handled every situation with confidence. So after a while of her boyfriend letting her down in do-or-die moments, she falls into the alpha's arms.

Straw Dogs would be sort of the same concept as Loneliest Planet but with the opposite outcome. Beta male pushed into a situation where he's forced to protect his wife and his home, but in this film he pulls through.

One more before this starts to become spam, but this one is slightly different.

In whiplash, the kid has a loving and soft spoken yet caring father who loves him for who he is and treats him well. JK Simmons compeltely usurps this role and presents himself as the unmoving and aggressively hostile father figure who breaks down the boy and his ego, does NOT accept mediocrity and loudly smashes against his resolve until the only option he has is perfection. And in that way the boy travels farther and grows into his new masculinty through pain, emotional breakdown and self actualisation that his real beta-bucks father had never provided him. Simmons is the example of the alpha father figure that we all want and NEED, and the kind of warrior-general masculine presence that is missing from the lives of boys today. In order to grow we need these kind of men in our lives, they used to be our teachers and headmasters and coaches and captains and drill sergeants; now we get boys raised by single mothers and betas. The movie, while being about a boys emotional journey, is also hugely emphasising the importance of masculine role models and leaders in the development from a boy into a man.

Another one: American beauty is about a man taking the red pill, swallowing it, digesting it and coming out the other side happy and fulfilled with life. He starts off his journey because he wants to fuck cute girls and his wife is a hypergamous bitch who doesn't respect him anymore, he lifts until he gets strong and hot, he tells his wife and his job to fuck off, and when he finally comes to screw the cute girl... He realises his priorities have changed and while he may have started out on his journey to get laid more, the self fulfilment and happiness in his life he earned from it taught him that he didn't NEED or WANT the validation of sex with young girls anymore.

Also weird autistic camera guy is another example of how you can be a DGAF alpha from a young age. Drill sergeant father was a good father even if too strict, because he beat the beta out of his son and out came a man with impeccable frame, amused mastery and an attitude towards the world that would get him far.

If you want an anime example, Kamina from TTGL is a wild boisterous, DGAF alpha, and the hot teenage boob girl falls for him because of it. He doesn't give two shits and is loud and angry and passionate about the things he likes, he has a mission and focuses purely on his gang of bros and his focus in life instead of the girl. He lets the girl come to him and even then still plays and toys with her. Beta Simon has no chance being so meek and unsure of himself, so while he pines after Yoko, she gets hot for the wild masculine dude.

In Pulp Fiction, Bruce Willis has complete control over his young and childish girlfriend, and his masculine and "dad like" presence keeps her loved and protected even while she whines and complains and eventually fucks up hard. He doesn't shout at her or massively lose his temper, he just gets shit done, and afterwards forgives her, like a father forgives a child for making a stupid mistake. This is what it means when we say that men love women like they love their children, it's a nurturing and protective kind of love, instead of the adoration and respect-based love women give to men. Because respect can be lost women can fall out of love much easier than Bruce Willis will fall or of love with his stupid but cute young girl, because he knows without him she's lost and helpless, and she seeks and requires his guidance and masculine presence.

In flight club Tyler Durden messes Marla Singer about and uses her like the messed up trash she is. No commitment, just a hoe who he disrespects and mistreats. She loves it and keeps coming back for more. This is the dynamic I have with some of my plates.

The way top Alpha Indiana Jones treats every single one of his plates. Like the whiney teenage women they are. He loves them and protects them but he never takes them too seriously.

Outside the context of romance flicks in particular, you could argue any movie where a guy goes on a journey of self-improvement is RP, for example Kingsman - which is a siiiick film.

Here's one from my side of the globe. It's an old Soviet movie that I have no idea why I watched, but I did. It tells the story of two brilliant surgeons in the Soviet 1970s. One's an alpha (tall, athletic, handsome), the other's a beta (short, bald, out of shape). The story starts with the alpha having a midlife crisis and abandoning his job, fiancee and a bunch of other responsibilities. He just hops on a train and goes wherever. There, he has his transformative experience, fucks a hot girl, treats an injured mine worker, rediscovers the value of human life, blah-blah-blah. In the meantime the beta gets busy covering for the alpha, pulling favors to let him keep his job and such. He also comforts the alpha's fiancee, with whom he is in love. Later, when a long time has passed and they both agree that the alpha's not coming back, he asks her out to dinner at a fancy restaurant, and then the alpha comes back EXACTLY at the time of their date. The woman immediately rejects the beta in a pretty cool scene where she basically tells the beta that he's had his fun, but now it's time to get back to his beta lot because the alpha's back. Roll credits.

there arent any real examples of "RP relationships" in movies, what there are are examples of "rp truths" in relationship and sexual dynamics portrayed in movies.

a good example is when Karen is holding a gun on Henry Hill in Goodfellas and what she says about him

we see that Karen will not leave her "high value" husband just because hes having an affair. she holds a GUN on him, but cant leave him. she overtly says "i couldnt even bring myself to leave him, the truth was that no matter how bad i felt, i was still attracted to him"

this is not an "RP relationship", of which there is no such thing, it is men and women merely demonstrating what rp says men and women are like, that a woman will put up with anything from a man to whom she is "attracted"

How are you defining RP relationships and distinguishing them from simple tradcon relationships?

I'm not sure what trp people think differentiates a redpill wife from just a tradcon wife.

Spoilers for Fargo the TV show.

Lester Nygaard is the ultimate redpill man. He starts off bitter and frustrated in life, thinking it's because he's nice but he simply settled because he didn't think he could do better. After a huge heaping of abuse he snaps, and from there learns that fucking people back can solve his problems. His newly gained confidence attracts him a hot wife who he is willing to cheat on, and who he throws away once it's useful to him.

He's smart (he figures out the riddle that stumps the FBI guys), but he lacks any moral core and is in denial about how people think, constantly reframing things to make himself look like the good guy (I'm the victim here). He isn't capable of understanding that others may be moral themselves (the parable about the glove).

He also imagines himself to be an awe inspiring killer, but when faced with an actual one shrinks away and panics.

Guys in chick flicks aren't alphas. They appear as alphas that can be tamed by the specific feminine wiles of the protagonist. They're greater betas.

If you give up looking for perfect relationships in movies?

Because even redpill folks can't all agree on perfect. Besides, Zod and Ursa are the best redpill couple I've ever seen on-screen, and they're super-villains. (I owe Atlas for teaching me to see that, instead of what I thought was the ideal redpill dynamic - Harley and Joker or James Bond and Pussy Galore. Meanwhile, Morticia and Gomez are the best bluepill, in terms of being on the same page and encouraging each other's passions. The two couples aren't that far apart - they just reach their best potential together, in slightly different ways.)

Runner up couple: Simba's parents, and their open marriage. (If it were ideal, she would have gutted Scar the moment his back was turned. But TRP might buy it. ALALT = all lionesses are like that.)

Hollywood mostly hates perfect couples though.

Two hours of watching other people be happy together, is torture porn for the audience that can't do it, and redundant for those who can.
Okay, so we begin with happily ever after. So, what is the story about then?
Most big budget movies can't even write a convincing romance anymore. Now that they can spam CGI all over the place, and they'd rather hire based on looks than chemistry, like softcore porn parodies of themselves. Or they go in the opposite extreme - their female characters are too busy being strong and independent for normal human interaction. Forced exceptions like Hulk and Black Widow came off more as a therapist and her client.

I'm sure I could find something better in the indies, if I dug deep enough, but most prefer to explore the depressing side of existence.
