A lot of people get their ideas about life from TV shows. Sad but true. Or they might read some "groundbreaking new book that's changed their lives." Happens all the time.

Apart from that, many have written about the power of the media and how they can influence opinions and ideas. They have already determined what is "normal" and are defining it for the public.

These women are not normal.

How did you find out that these women are "not normal"? Who told you that? What basis or standard for "normal" are you using, and where did it come from? For most people, the idea of "normal" came from TV and other media telling them what is "normal." As you say, the TV is showing them as abnormal and making a point about it so you can laugh and be entertained. In the process, they are forming your idea of what is "normal" without you actually realizing it.

Yesterday after watching Maury and The Bachelor I realized most of those women fit TRP's narrative to a T. These women are not normal.

Yet tens of millions of bored women sit around watching them and their antics. Why?

I hope you don't have some weak non argument like "duh.. uhh... der... cause they're so DIFFERENT from us... it surely doesn't say a thing about human psychology that we people these exaggerated archetypes of our worst inner selves fascinating. Surely not."

The very popularity of these trashy morning tv shows you speak of undermines your point. Humans are ultimately interested in human nature. Want to understand the dark, selfish, superficial, greedy, yet universal, even if often repressed or sublimated, side of human nature? You could do worse than analyzing some reality TV.

So, call TRP pessimistic or whatever, but it's still accurate. A woman may walk around acting the saint, but when it comes to something that matters, like mate selection, or who she'll do anal for, or why she just stops "feeling it" 4 years into her marriage with Billy McBeta, she is a dumb whore acting on her hindbrain just like the rest.

I watch Maury all the time and the women on there aren't much like TRP says. Other than certain women on that show sleeping with so many men that they don't know the father, the vast majority are poor women whom are trying to get a poor man to help take care of a child that is theirs. I've watched hundreds of Maury episodes and seldom is there any case of BB because pretty much no one on that show has money.

You're assuming that, because they are a cliche stereotype, that they aren't normal.

But, people are not all cliches walking around.

A lot of women fit into the idea that RP puts forward, just in slightly different ways to each other.

RP is a generalisation that fits a basic rule. Sure, there's outliers at either end, but you get that in a population.

I don't watch a lot of non-competitive reality tv (How is Survivor in the same category as Real Housewives). But I do watch one mainly because the women are so hot and they have this male womanizer that I relate to in strange ways. It's called Vanderpump Rules, and it's mostly about a restaurant owned by Lisa Vanderpump and the young dumb and full of cum wait and bar staff. In the beginning if the show, they acted a lot like TRP expects, but in later seasons, they are like "holy shit, this doesn't work." And are pairing off and pulling away socially.

So I don't think TRP is necessarily wrong about some of what they assess. One of my partners is an ex-stripper (off camera whispers red flag) and she is very TRP. But it's kind of a phase that people go through in their self journey, thinking that that is the best way to attract partners. It is a good way to attract partners. But it's not a good way to attract good partners with high stability (i.e. RMV).

The fundamental problem TRP has is the idea that people make complex choices and have complex feelings that lead to what looks like inconsistent behavior. So it's like chaos theory and they are doing blackbox testing via loosely affiliated websites where some of the actors are giving malicious input for personal gain. It's just never going to fucking work and the idea that it does is only visible to people with very limited social understanding. Their black box explanation does fit some women. Add in the hand wave of "outliers" and it's a perfect faith.

So I'll give a field report. I was on a date with a woman last night and I usually don't want to have sex (even oral) on the first date. So I brought her to my truck and we made out some but at some point in time she safe worded yellow (I'm into kinky shit) and we stopped. We exited the truck so she could 420 and she explained that she has a bad experience in a truck once and she didn't want to go into it. She explicitly said we'd be having sex and I rejected the notion (because, I don't usually have sex on the first date. Exception can be if there is a lot of sexting/sexy pic swap before). We went back to her place and I knew she wanted me to come in but I rejected it, saying we'll meet again. This morning, nice text and sexy pic exchanges.

So TRP would say that I'm not alfalfa enough or something. That she'd have sex in the truck with Chad, but for beta bucks me, she's not going to. Replace "in the truck" with "in the butt" and you'll see it. I mean, she obviously had sex in a truck before and now she's denying me just making out. Wah wah.

But really, it's just a complicated situation. In kink, we are all about negotiating and marking out the safe spaces in pleasure to keep trigger shit from happening mid scene. If someone has a hard limit, I don't get vexed, I just note it and work around it. If it's a limit I can't abide, then it's over, and onto the next. Maybe I am alfalfa, with that abundance mentality. But above I wasn't. But here I am. It makes no sense. Point is though that people have their shit and it's not always easy to understand if you aren't them. Sometimes you have things that you are "red" on and sometimes just "yellow" and all the way in between. But hormones, immediate context (vacation), life context (just broke up), trust, build up of endorphins though beating, disciplined training of certain sphincters etc can all make you change your mind, even change it in the moment.

I'm kind of ranting now, but no, I think the reality tv reflects a section if reality, but it's not all of reality, and certainly the hard working grad student with one partner is not great tv. But a highly religious woman who pumped out well over a dozen kids is good tv, and that never seems to factor into Redpill philosophy.

I think that for the women TRP interacts with AWALT is more true than for the general population of women. You have to understand that they don't interact with average women, but with young hot girls (aka dressing in a revealing way and having promiscuous pictures on tinder) that are looking for casual sex. Regular girls are invisible to them. If she doesn't look and behave like a fucktoy she's probably a dyke or a feminist so she doesn't even count.

TRP is very shallow and superficial when it comes to preferences in their partners and thus only go for the women that put the most effort in looking fuckable. Terps attract them by looking as attractive as they manage to become thus they end up with similarly shallow women. They don't care about her personality all that much so they end up with more girls that have no or a shitty personality.

Normal/average women aren't open to having casual sex with strangers, didn't get fucked by the whole football team and don't suck the dick of a drug dealer on a regular basis, but for TRP these girls are the norm.

Which should be a warning. Sure TRP works if you want to get laid often, but AWALT will be more true for all the girls that are attracted to that. They won't get nice/smart/mature/confident/strong/interesting girls that way.

Used to be a player some years ago. Dressed like a swagfag, always showed off my muscles and behaved in a assertive, dominant and macho way. I did TRP before it existed, but in a more manipulative PUA way.

The girls that I fucked in that time were all hot as fuck and I had the same "girls are boring and have no interests nor personality"-mindset. What I didn't realize was that all the regular nice/intellectual/artsy/strong women were disgusted by that behavior and thus I never interacted with them.

When I got older I started to care about personality more and started to present myself in a nicer and more beta way. I started dressing in a more casual way, started going for mature women (23+), stopped hitting on the slutty girls in bars and stopped asking girls for sex the day we met.

Nowadays all the girls I interact with are interesting, fun to be around, loyal and generally the opposite of how TRP describes women. Even those that used to be exactly how TRP describes women became better once they entered the adult world and matured.

tl;dr:

On the one hand TRP chooses partners based on looks alone without evaluating their personality and then complains that they have a shitty personality which shouldn't be surprising.

On the other hand they go for teenage girls and then wonder why they behave like teenager girls.

The narcissistic woman is worshipped in western culture. She represents the values of the culture which are media based so the culture is actually representative of what the media values. The Kardashians are a perfect caricature of American culture and its people.

Culture is created by and now serves the media which by its very nature is narcissistic.

Men who worship these women represent the reasons for worshipping "her" by how they are shown.

They symbolize what happens to and is a reflection of a man who is no longer a man but simply that which is enslaved into and by idol worship with women being that idol as the symbol of the culture.

Media and women are one and the same thing and both as narcissists need their audience made up of lesser subjects.
