I have noticed that dating especially when people are younger doesn't follow a 1:1 to ratio. What I tend to see is that there is a small minority of guys that tend to have a lot of women, while for a lot of guys they tend to struggle. (Yes there are girls that tend to sleep with a lot of guys, but they often sleep with the same popular guys.)

In my school popular guys/good looking guys/athletes, tended to sleep with a lot of girls. One of my friends was just the kicker, and he'd have multiple fuck buddies, plus on nights he went out he would bring home a different girl.

The reality is that when everyone gets older they will pair off with someone. Of the 100s of girls he probably has slept with, he will pick one when it comes to marriage/settling down. Same goes for the popular frat guy, the good looking dude etc.

Isn't the reality of the situation is that your average looking dude is going to end up getting a girl that used to pine for more attractive men. I mean even for me, I am probably a 7.5 on a good day, a lot of the girls I had sex with on Tinder were a good bit below me in attractiveness, they are probably going to end up one day with a guy that is significantly less attractive than me. Then when you throw in the fact that more women graduate college than men, a woman has to lower her standards even more.

The guy that now has a good job and didn't get many ladies in college, will now have a wife that isn't nearly as attracted to him as she was with her past partners. There is a probably a huge list of things she did for Chads that she won't even think of doing with her current bf.

Conclusion

I think for a lot of guys on TRP, if they could eventually settle down with a woman that appreciated them and was deeply attracted to them they wouldn't be upset. What gets them upset is that they are treated as a meal ticket by women.
