Hear me out. Most of us were raised with a woman as our primary caregiver. She cuddled us, comforted us, coddled us and loved us even when we didn't deserve it. She offered us the most unconditional love we'll ever get in life. And she was always there.

Maybe the reason red pill men feel so let down by romantic love is because they're basing their expectations off their relationship with their mother---because they expect their girlfriend/wife to love them the way their mother did. But none of us ever quite get a mother's love again-- which is quite right, that would be codependent as an adult.

Perhaps women expect their significant other to love them the way their father did--- still unconditionally, but perhaps not as all-encompassing and a bit more distant.

Anyone else think this might be the root of the "Men love women, women love children, children love puppies..." red pill meme?
