Men's requirement for women to "be hot" pertains only to sex. If the woman is only hot but has nothing else going for her, she'll just be a sex toy for the guy and not serious relationship material. Most women want relationships more than they want casual sex, so there are higher standards that they place on men before deciding to date them.

Because for initial attraction all men care about is looks and being hot is not that easy. The vast majority of women aren't hot and they remain that way for a short time. My feeling for younger women is they should enjoy the moment of hotness and develop back up plans for being able to negotiate the rest of their lives. I am way past wall, flirting is just as much fun when you are older but it requires more brain power.

For starters, you're asking why girls only have to be hot in order to be hot. You're asking why men need to have a myriad of qualities to be dateable. Just because somebody is hot doesn't necessarily make them dateable. A man can be just sexually attractive a lot like a woman can.

Really, the only thing that's different fundamentally about what makes a man hot apart from a woman is that a man's physical fitness is often a prerequisite. Both men and women can be genetically endowed, carry the capacity to not be obese, and can dress and groom well. That's being hot.

Being dateable is when personality, financial stability, and everything else starts being relevant.

I think you are confusing the SMP with the RMP. For girls being hot means you can get a lot of attention from men. However it does not guareentee that you are "dateable", it just means guys want to have sex with you. If you are a bitch, guys want nothing to do with you, and the ones that do, put up with you for sex.

Women have one egg per cycle, etc... 9 months of supreme vulnerability when pregnant. Body many times permanently altered after pregnancy, etc...

It even takes more concentration and specificity during sex for us to orgasm.

Hence it makes sense that it takes more for us to find a man attractive.

We have to ensure the man we're with is worth all of the above.

Women invest more in procreation and they have more to lose due to a bad decision.

Example: a man can have 1,000 kids a year (he can sleep with 3 women a day, probably 5+ if he really wanted) and he can do it from age 13ish until he dies in his 80s. A woman can only have 1. A woman can only have one (not including twins, triplets, etc) a year and she can only do it for 20-30 years.

Also a woman puts her health at risk by getting pregnant. Before medicine, pregnancy/childbirth was the #1 killer of adult women. Men don't die from childbirth.

Plus women have more responsibility to kids.

So women have more requirements and demands, because they can't have as many kids and they have more to lose by a bad decision.

The problem now is that since women want the highest quality mate they can get (to ensure they have the highest quality offspring) now they are developing insane lists that are not realistic and even if they were, the men who hit all their checkboxes can do better. At the end of the day there is 1 man for every 1 woman, and the 0.01% of men who are rich, famous, beautiful are not going to form a committed, monogamous relationship with an average looking woman (unless she has an amazing personality, and most people do not).

It's because of the difference in how each gender's sex drive works.

Females derive validation from sex via feeling desired, or feeling sexy, or getting certain feelings they want from a sexual encounter with a man. There is physical pleasure, but it's heavily tied to a man's appearance, confidence, charm, and whatever else creates the "tingles" or good feelings for a particular female. Overall, the female sex drive is more sensitive.

Conversely, males derive sexual validation via the expression of sexual desires, and the opportunities they get to do that. The looks of a female are most important because they provide the tools for tha,t big boobs, a big ass, big lips. This is also why females are more often objectified, they are objects, or tools to express desire onto.

Men are pretty much set by virtue of being men. They only need women for one thing.
