Dump him before it gets to the marriage/kids stage. If you see he isn't putting in the effort you are, then move on. That's what dating is for: vetting and weeding out the men who aren't a capable leader and who don't have your best interests at heart.

Have you read Laura Doyle's book? If not, start there. This is where you get a lot of the answers to those questions posed in your post.

I challenge anyone who dislikes RPW to actually read Doyle's book. I find many times, people who have such ire for RPW are upset by RP. They develop their own ideas about what RPW is all about and project that onto us. It's all rooted from a place of fear, anger, and ignorance.

I think part of the problem is that there isn't as much of a wealth of information on RPW as there is on TRP. Not nearly as many avenues from the feminine perspective have been delved into, so the information that you're seeking may have yet to be talked about at length. I mean, there are hundreds of Red Pill male websites. Red Pill female sites are few and far between.

i think they have the 'caring for your partner' thing right (and for some reason, they think non-RPW women don't do that). i think that being mindful of how you approach problems and how you 'mesh' with the other person in your relationship is important, and can be really helpful; i don't follow RPW, but it's just good sense.

but it needs to go both ways and it doesn't require you to become something lesser than your partner; the idea that it should be one-sided or that you should be less important than him is absurd. i don't believe that healthy relationships are adversarial or have any kind of hierarchy. really, i think you can find the advice above anywhere; i don't think you need RPW for it.

i could get on board if RPW just promoted being a good partner and doing your part to be in a loving relationship, but then i see threads that celebrate things like this:

She married ONE MAN and never cheated or divorced. Francis' husband was as mean as a rattlesnake dipped in boiling caster oil, on his better days, and the man whom she reverently and with absolute sincere deep love called "the best man on earth" until the day she died.

that's your ideal? really? that's what you strive to be? married to someone who seems to hate you, and just taking it? nope. no way. there is no man, no provision, no benefit worth that.

this, among other threads that encourage women to give up on lifelong dreams and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities... i'm glad i didn't know about it when i was going through a hard time, and i hope no one i know ever falls into that kind of thinking. there's so much that we would or would have missed out on, thanks to the advice of a bunch of internet 'experts'.

so, in short... be good to your partner, be good to yourself, but take RPW with a grain of salt, if at all (IMO).

Read the RPW bible "The Surrendered Wife" ...I read it and it was if it was taking all the colours out of the world and painting it over with grey (sure shades of grey...but grey)...I could see the allure in it, no more decisions no more thinking...but it wasn't for me.

You might learn to understand the gender roles which have evolved over millions of years. You (and your man) will learn the happiness that comes from fulfillment as organisms.

It sounds brainwash-y AF, but it's not the case. It's acceptance that your man will fulfill his purpose as a male of ensuring his woman and his children are safe and has everything taken care of...assuming he does.

I don't even consider myself an RPW, but I think they do discuss all of the above things, at length. I mean, that's exactly what they talk about on there. Just because you don't think their advice is relevant to your own lifestyle for whatever reason doesn't mean they haven't been addressed adequately.

That said, I think it's true that the RP/W perspective is not effective for every relationship and not everyone wants that kind of relationship. There are a lot of people out there who have successful egalitarian relationships and prefer that dynamic. As I understand it the RPW group is for people who tried that prevailing default dynamic and found something lacking for various reasons.

You're right. The female sexual strategy is not well developed beyond "look pretty". RPW don't have nearly as good guides as men do.

The ideal man is becoming a unicorn as much as the ideal women. Women should try enjoy the decline as well. If I was a women I think the best thing you could do is find the richest man possible and turn him into your beta accessory. Getting stuck with a guy you don't like with millions of dollars in your pocket is better then getting dumped by the guy you did like with nothing to show for it.

Yeah, RPW is good at improving themselves, but they have a ton of blindspots that TRP covers. Another common problem seen on RPW is that if their husband is beta, they have no clue on how to get him to alpha up (hint: being a perfect wife isn't going to make your man get his shit together, it just enforces him that he's doing a swell job).
