You do know in both of these movies the plot is them branch swinging from a boring rich guy, to an exciting, charismatic, playboy who gives them tingles? It's every married BB's worst nightmare, and women love it.

Especially in The Notebook, the other guy was nice enough, well off, reasonably good looking, and she still went with the other guy. He was someone who infuritated her, and at some points she couldn't stand, but she still came back for more.

The red pill answers the question of why the guy who appears "good enough" on the surface, isn't the one who sexually excites the girl. How to become the second guy, rather than the first. How to be a man that women will lust after, and not know why. They analyze exactly what it was that he did right.

In the context of The Notebook, you can see where the male lead (who I can't recall the name of) uses red pill tactics. Amused mastery, negs, outcome independence, push-pull, to name a few of the more obvious ones. These are exactly what our male hero does to differentiate himself as a natural alpha, in compared to the likeable, in shape, but ultimately boring BB.

Romance novels/movies are one of the best places to discover what women like. They show an unfiltered raw depiction of what excites women, and so a lot of red pill advice can be seen there and comes from there.

Edit: I just remembered his name is "Noah". Also, please forgive me if all my examples are from The Notebook. I loved that movie and watched it a lot (hey, I'm a woman and I'm "like that" too). In comparison, I have only seen Titanic a couple of times... mostly because it's so long.

Depends on the qualities of the ugly millionaire. Hell, the younger Einstein was an "ugly" poor man who had no problems getting laid due to his intellectual brilliance.

While women are deemed attractive to a large extent based on looks (on average, obviously there are those including me who look for more than mere physical beauty) men are deemed attractive based on either their achievements or their potential to achieve.

Take a look at some adjectives used to define attractive women:

Pretty
Beautiful
Poised
Chic
Adorable
Cute
Exquisite
Unblemished

Now contrast that with adjectives used for attractive men:

Handsome
Strong
Powerful
Athletic
Influential
Charismatic
Courageous
Roguish
Intelligent

Attractive women are judged in terms of physical/spiritual perfection. Attractive men are judged in terms of achievement or it's potential. A poor man is deemed attractive based on qualities that hint at the potential to achieve - physical fitness implies a level of discipline and ability (even if it does not translate to areas beyond staying fit and being great in bed).

Roguish qualities have proven to be successful in the past when coupled with discipline and ambition. It's no surprise that the rogue archetype is most popular in the Americas while not seen as attractive in Asia, since the Americas were founded and built on the legacies of adventurers who bent the rules. This is not the case in Asia where the most successful/influential tend to rise through hard work or due to privileged ancestry. Curiously, roguish western men are seen as attractive to women in Asia, more so than their Asian counterparts - perhaps this is because of the perceived legacy that western men with roguish qualities bring with them.

So, an ugly rich man who is deemed to have peaked will be seen as less attractive than a handsome poor man (or an "ugly" poor man with talent) who gives off the impression that he will go far.

EDIT: This seems muddled, but the gist of it is that wealth and high social status are indicators of achievement, which can highly augment your sexual attractiveness as a man if you have the right qualities. Even sex, essentially a biological function, is defined by achievement for men. You need to have skills, experience and physical stamina - qualities you aren't born with.

Hypergamy doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sexual attraction. Wealth and high social status in a prospective SO is important to women because in their circles they assume the "rank" that their SO does, that's why at any given time you can see the spouses of high ranking military officers acting like they are hot shit when they are just as useless as any other woman in the room. She assumes that she is important because she is married to someone important and uses that as leverage within her peer group.

That said, the wealth and high social status don't particularly make her horny in and of themselves, but she knows that sex (and the longer term option of children) is likely the only worthwhile thing she can possibly offer him as the common western woman is by and large worthless as a partner. It's easy for those who aren't used to thinking to confuse sexual attraction and the offering of sex to further their own desires.

I will challenge your view. Wealth and social status generate a ton of sexual attraction with women. When I first started in big law all the young associates, whenever we went out to the bars and clubs, could get virtually anyone we wanted. "Oh, you're a lawyer at Skadden/Latham/Cravath? Let me blow you in the restroom of this five-star restaurant." We used to have summer associate parties in Vegas where nearly every associate had a smoking hot girl come back to his suite that night. Wealth is not inherently sexy to women. High social status is to some, though. Many women get off on the idea of sex with a powerful person. It's a psychological thing, perhaps the idea that they have the physical looks and powerful sexual personality that can make a guy like that want to sleep with her. This is a big reason why in college the average-looking guys in the high status fraternities can sleep with better looking women than the handsome guys in low status fraternities.

lol, wealth and social status are extremelly important to keep attractiveness to females. Most of them will always prefer a man they regard of equal or higher status, with very few exceptions, like the ones considered the highest classes which have few choices but to date down, or they risk being single for the rest of their lives.

Here's some personnal anedoctal evidence? Me and a friend of mine hang out often to clubs and discos. We're both about the same level of physical attractiveness, but we have different approaches when it comes to women: I shit test them often to see how shallow and useless they are as a person, my friend is a compulsive liar when it comes to girls.

90% of the approaches, one of the questions a woman will inevitably ask is : "What do you do for a living?"

My friend (he's unemployed at the moment): "Well, i'm a pilot/nurse/high rank military(insert other high status profession), blah blah" and suddenly after some chat he gets her number or takes her home

Honest me (i'm unemployed but i have a math degree but i usually omit it to shit test her): "Well i'm currently unemployed but looking for a job" - Then i start counting 1....2....3... Puff she's gone.

At the end of the day, we both laugh at how much "ho's" this women are, but they're just an example that works for almost any women i've known personally.

High status isn't "everything" but it helps a hell lot. Do you think George Clooney would have 1 billion chicks trying to marry him if he had a loser job like working at a supermarket? LOL.

Oh, thugs do get some chicks once in a while to bang them, but they aren't all that attractive. Either way, i've known personally dozens of thugs, and i can't even point a single one of them that married a higher status women. Banging for 1 night stand is one thing, but no one seriously considers them relationship material, but women with even lower or equal status. I'm seriously very confident that a beta rich guy like woody allen banged more women than all the thugs i know combined.

Well i haven't watched the notebook, but as for titanic, ever wondered that it the fact it is DiCaprio representing the role isn't important at all? It's extremelly important. Either way, this sort of stories are almost unheard of.

For every story you find like this i find you thousand of stories where the humble home lady expects and marries the Prince Charming/Mighty warrior/insert heroic figure that goes crazy on her for mysterious reasons, that kind of stories are the ones that really sell high and most of them are as old as humanity itself.

The hell? Justin Bieber is a millionaire, that automatically makes him a high status specially for teenagers younger than him, and the same for men belonging for famous boys band. Fame is status as well.

About the multibillionaire, well i don't know about you, but i've never seen a millionaire who didn't have a very hot top model women, i'd appreciate counter examples if you have. You're clearly understimating the ammount of gold digging ho's around the planet, and they're quite the "dominant" fashion amongst women who lost the will to believe in romance.
