A vast majority of men and women are not fascinating beings. They might think they are but they aren't. My dog thinks I am fascinating probably as a survival tool to keep getting fed. I do agree with some of the TRP critique about many people ( I include men, they don't ) thinking they are special snowflakes and acting accordingly.

That might be a misreading or a typo. It looks like it was taken from another stat: twice as many of our ancestors were women as they were men. The 80% was a reference to the fact that many women passing their genes on vs 40% of men. It was actually a wild ass guess. All we could say from the studies this came from was that women were considerably more successful at reproduction.

The causes of this imbalance are not necessarily due to infidelity (though that's certainly a factor when we're dealing with something as profound as a 2:1 ratio), but also:

war and slaughter
disease
dangerous jobs
polygamy
incest

... And so on.

It really has nothing to do with women. Women will act like women will act. There is nothing wrong with them. The problem is modern society. It makes no sense to commit where there are so few consequences for a female to bail on the commitment (and perhaps take half your shit in the process).

For me, none of this hit home until I traveled Europe and South America.

The women there are... well... just better. Just. Better. They're sweet and positive. They know how to be feminine, in their social and relationship behaviors.

Oh, and here's a good one: they actually like men. They're happy to be talked to. Even if they're not interested, they are polite in rejection.

Many are absolutely thrilled to find a good man, settle down, and take care of the home.

On some level, I already agreed with the linked post, but it didn't hit me viscerally until I experienced women who hadn't been sullied by two generations of egalitarianism.

If TRP really wants to say that they aren't misogynistic (because I know how much they love that word) then they shouldn't be endorsing such obviously angry writer. Final thought is that he mentions a lot about the effect of mothering (seeming to forget that he would also be fathering, right?). The RP sidebar has a link labeled "Gender Studies Is Nonsense" which he apparently didn't watch at all. They conclude in part 2 that parenting has very little effect on the outcome of the children. If he's saying that mothers are ruining their kids, perhaps he should do their recommended "reading."

Women of my generation (millennials) are pretty basic for the most part. Most of them have the same hobbies and interests, and all of them think they are unique special princesses deserving of their own prince charming. I agree that the majority have nothing substantive to offer outside of pussy, mouth, and ass. I don't necessarily agree that it's okay to cheat in a monogamous relationship preemptively given that the woman is doing whatever the guy wants sexually.
