Meh no rule says any two people have to be romantically compatible. He's free to to have certian physical standards and be blunt about them when put on the spot.

She's free to have standards that require partners that like her body type (or I suspect be extremely tactful about the subject).

I wouldn't regard either of them as doing anything wrong and well they are both in their 50s so saying that either of them need to change is pretty pointless at this point.

It's sad that this woman had a bad time, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily indicative of the experiences she would have had with all men her age.

For example, I have a friend who works in an old people's home down in the laundry. From the sound of things, very few of the active ones amongst them have any trouble appreciating each other's bodies. No chance of pregnancy + endless free time = happy, happy grandparents. Don't fear the nursing home, people.

I thought older people were more open about these sorts of things, its no wonder Dave was surprised by how badly she took the news. You got to be a bit more accomadating sexually as you get older, things don't work like they do when youre in your 20s (I'm assuming here, I'm still only in my 20s myself).

From her photo you can see an attractive older woman with the kind of skin that many women her age have. Yet, he wasn't turned off. He spent a lot of time in her company, being nice and sociable---> grooming her for the eventual reveal of his fetish.

1) I mean this article is about a 59 year old woman. Let's put this in perspective - born in 1956. Is this even controversial that a Golden Girl would feel insecure about her looks, and men find her unattractive. I don't think anyone expects a damn near 60 year old women to be confident in her sexuality. Unless you're Cher and have resorted to partially, or fully, becoming a robot.

2) this is not at all comparable to a dude in his prime with a small dick. Yeah, he's doing what he can, and that's admirable. But there is no connection between a 59 year old senior woman who is just.... old and a young man with a small dick.

shrug If you're not outstandingly rich, then man or woman you are unlikely to be convincing anyone, man or woman, to put in an academy award performance pretending you're youthfully hot and tight-bodied at age sixty. Also a lot of us have had that sort of wistful ambivalence about our bodies right from the start, she'll live, its survivable.

Post menopausal women can ideally only hope for sex with someone who they have a LTR with. That way the man can dim the lights and pretend that she looks the same as she did in her prime. Playing the dating game based on the physical attraction you delude yourself into thinking you still have can only lead to tears imo.
