This is the first generation that's not going to be able to fulfill the "graduate, get married, buy a house, have 2.3 children, retire and die", narrative that previous generations were given.

Whether or not that's bad, it creates a situation where people can't win. We're failures for not conforming to previous way of life that's going to leave us financially destitute if we try. We're invisible to capitalists, meaning we might as well actually be invisible. How do you market to a demographic too poor for even get a casual SO?

I'm not going to advocate for change. Things were set in motion before we were born. It's bigger than us. We're too late to fit in to the old way and too early for a way that would accommodate us.

I think we all, men and women, need to let go of the old and brace ourselves for a new we can't even imagine. And will probably be too old to enjoy :/
