Donna Rotunno, Harvey Weinstein's lawyer, claims that the MeToo movement will make men afraid of even asking women out at all. The public response has been negative, saying that only rapists are afraid of the MeToo movement.

But the whole deal reminded me of this:

Actor Henry Cavill said he used to pursue women, that he's "old school" in dating, that he used to "chase" them because he likes it that way, but that he no longer does it because the MeToo movement made him feel like people would consider him a rapist.

So, the logic is the same in both statements. However, has Henry Cavill become any less attractive in women's eyes? Has he suddenly been "cancelled", or boycotted, or shamed? No. In fact, he's more popular than ever before, and he's the protagonist of more women's fantasies than ever before.

This is also the same guy who was having sex with an 18-year-old girl when he was like 34. People give shit to Leonardo DiCaprio, but Cavill was going for girls EVEN YOUNGER and nobody gives a damn at all. 18 years old is high school age if you were born January-June. Cavill fucked a high schooler and nobody found it disgusting. Because he looks like Henry Cavill.

By the way he dumped that girl only 1 year afterwards. Oof, 19, ewwww. 19 is waaaaay too old, isn't it? Basically an elderly lady.

This also applies to men like Paul Walker (sex with 16 year old minors when he was 34) or even Elvis Presley (sex with 14 year olds when he was over 35), but does that get them "cancelled"? Do their images suffer at all from that?

Only Weinstein-looking men get MeToo'd. It's not a coincidence the image of the movement is a disgusting 70-year-old obese ogre no one would even touch with a broom stick. You're never going to see an attractive man lose female popularity for being a creep. It's ALL about the looks, and nothing about the behavior.
