Apparently this movie is one of the most famous romantic comedy/drama ever made. I remember in the 90s all female celebrities mentioned it as their favorite film. I reckon that it's not bad, the directing, acting and editing are good though the characters are somewhat underdeveloped and the plot lacks substance. I understand that Patrick Swayze is the quintessential alpha with his rugged good looks and imposing personality while the girl is the quintessential Becky who succeeds in taming the chadly beast. And then women love dancing. Am I missing something? Is there any other particular aspects that I'm overlooking?
