For those who aren't from the UK, you've probably never heard of the reality TV show 'Love Island'. In the UK, this is a massively popular show - TLDR of the show is that its basically a bunch of good looking Alphas who go to a resort on an island and compete to couple up with good looking Stacy's. Some contestants are more beta than others, and some are extremely redpilled players.

Well, on season 3 of the show there was a Chad called Mike Thalassitis. He was redpilled to a tee, atleast it appeared that way. He held frame, passed shit tests and had women chasing him. He quickly gained the reputation of a bad boy, and that reputation followed him outside of the Love Island show.

For millions of girls in the UK, he was for a short time the quessentional bad boy douchebag. He had no shortage of women wanting to fuck him.

So it came as a shock in 2019 when this guy committed suicide at age 26.

Who knows why he killed himself? Undiagnosed mental illness? Secret oneitis? I can't offer a definitive answer on this, but I do believe what I'm about to say is not out of the realm of possibility.

It was reported by his close friends that in the months leading up to his death, he had opened up about how "fame and women wasn't what its cracked to be".

He was bombarded with fame, women and money. And after a short while, this no longer fulfilled him. This isn't a particularly new thing with celebrities...they hit a certain level of fame whereby their SMV skyrockets, and they have no idea how to handle it.

Essentially, they haven't learned how to internally validate themselves. They base their self worth on how much money they have or how many women they can get. MOST people do this for a while until realizing it's not the answer. But fir those who reach extremely high SMV, the effects are more exaggerated.

They've gotten everything they THINK they wanted, but don't know how to validate themselves.

The point from this is even a high SMV Chad can lack inner game. I feel that a lot on askTRP, including myself, who were former Blue Pilled would know that external validation isn't the answer but would still chase it. The truth is that inner game conquers all... for many, it is a matter of life or death. You must divorce your self worth from what women think of you. This gets overlooked a lot, but it is THE most important thing..
