Indeed, I was told all my life that you can "notice" when you stop being a virgin, that your body changes and a lot of stupid taboos, I lost virginity and nothing changed literally nothing, not even in a emotional level, I felt nothing, not excitment or sadness, nothing. I was the same person I was an hour before it happened.

This is a reminder that I need to let go of the feeling of being filthy after I was coerced into unprotected sex. I felt like a branded cow that now permanently belonged to my ex. For years I had wished I would have gotten myself out of that room with him. I should have said No, but what would of happened then? I don't remember much while laying there except a mask hanging on the wall above the bed. It was one of the V for Vendetta Guy Fawks masks. I hate that thing... I was stupid because I stayed with this creep for 2 years.. I was 29 at the time and felt that this was as good as relationships get.

A lot of weird social norms just come from men having fragile egos.

When men shame women for having sex, they’re doing it to control us. It’s because they feel intimidated by women who’s standards they might not live up to. That’s why they get scared of high body counts. More experience = “she’s probably been with someone I can’t measure up to”. Quite literally if we’re talking about size lmao.

It’s because of this weird societal thing where men see women as trophies that determine their worth. They see us as a conquest or as private property. It’s gross af.

There’s nothing wrong with sex, but there is something wrong with shaming and controlling people. We were never in the wrong, it was always just scrotes projecting.

Virgin seems to be a way men say a woman hasn't been 'used' yet. I never see an obsession with male virgins, it's only with females ones.

It's also why they include rape as a way to lose your virginity. To men, consent doesn't matter, if you get 'used' you get used. All the same to them.
