As someone who's literal hobby is fucking other guys wives, yes but it's not as strong or common, just like some women have a more male like sex drive. I've seen women blow up with irrational jealousy (you are in a sex club and jealous someone is interested in sex with your husband?) but I've seen it more often in men.

Depends on their options and how much they've invested. If one of either gender is emotionally invested then they'll have strong feelings, likewise if they feel like this is some kind of big chance to start a meaningful relationship.

Nothing ignites a woman's jealousy more than sex....NOTHING.... most girls can take or leave lots of guys UNTIL they okay the sex, and then that is when they have turned the corner\switch and they develop borderline obsession and yes, jealousy.

Unless, of course, you are trading in sluts then, of course, which is why most guys avoid them like the plague for any form of relationship.

Not really. Women are developing feelings earlier on, but men are developing strong feelings after they have put time and money into the relationship. Nevertheless women are acting out, even if they don't like you yet, should you give other women your attention. Attention is like a drug and the most valuable currency.

They are arguably better at hiding it than most men are.

Perhaps this is due to conditioning on the part of both...

Either way, jealousy is an inwardly focused emotion which people project toward a person as an object.

It isn’t about the person, at all but rather how that person makes them feel about themselves.

The best way to deal with it, is to simply not tolerate it or validate it in any way.

Jealousy is toxic, abusive and low.

It never leads anywhere good.

The sooner we get over ourselves and stop viewing each other as means to our own ends rather than ends unto their own, the better off we will all be. But that is a whole other can of worms...
