I am probably going to get flak for saying this, but I think that it could be made up. It seems too good to be true. There are just too many shitty events happening to him, one after the other and they perfectly fit into one another. You always need to keep an open mind when reading stuff on the internet.

On the other hand if this is true then this has to be one of the most fucked up stories I have ever read in my life. No wonder so many men off themselves, far more than women. I really hope that this story is fake.

I love TFM, listen to all of his stuff, and have all the sympathy for his journey.

That said, it's a shame that so much of r/MGTOW gets associated with incels, men who were cheated on, men who were divorce-raped, etc.

I agree that the above is prevalent, and that many of our numbers come from that population.

But as time goes on, I think that more and more guys like myself will find their way here - guys who followed the standard path, and may in fact still be married, but who have come to the conclusion that women are simply atrocious in this day and age. They are ill-mannered, rude, disrespectful, and generally make horrible partners. Just ask 10 or so married guys if any of them are truly happy.And that's to say nothing about the fact that at 50+, I look young, am cut and muscled and strong as hell, and am married to a woman who (though she stays slim) frankly, looks like a grandmother.

So any guy with eyes in his head should recognize that in 2020, MGTOW is the only logical choice. It's not just for the broken ones.

Life is good if you get over the oneitis fantasy and ditch the concept of loyal wife, apple pie, 3 kids. After I do my lifting tonight I'm going to spend 4 hours playing Outer Worlds. Life is good.

The red pill and mgtow are adaptations to a decaying culture, but doesnt mean you can't make the best of it.

The trick is men like this stumling across either mgtow content or a good male friend that can be a mentor and teach him how to be a man and help get over the childhood trama, which most of us have in some form.

I've had similar bad past experiences to him, maybe worse actually.

I tried counseling / therapy and the whole gynocentricism thing applies there - they didn't give a shit, presumably because I am male. One of them actually cancelled on me last minute with the excuse "one of our female clients needs help, you understand this is more important don't you?" and that was from a male therapist... the women were even worse. Some of the women therapists were hiking their prices for male clients so that they could offer reduced / free sessions to female clients, for example. Another one tried to get me to cut my parents out of my life and rely on her and her only for all support...for a fee ofcourse. Some of the others just flirted with me the entire hour - not helpful.

I'm surprised he doesn't understand this. We men are considered tools, rated on our usefulness then set aside when our usefulness becomes less. No amount of complaining about it is going to make any difference unless we have a conventional war where they will rely on us to defend them.

My mother garnered my dad's paychecks claiming custody of me even though I did not live with her when I was a teen. She and my stepfather spent the money on a jacuzzi and many other stupid things.

The world is a shitty place and I feel for this guy. I thought I had it rough, (mom's a hoarder so our house is a tip, growing up dad was an alcoholic but recovered now). Luckily my grandparents are so good to me, my grandmother's more like my mum. Grandad is a complete alpha. Just shows for the most part we are blessed in life and should appreciate things. The guy here must have developed some defense mechanisms after all this not his fault at all which will make making buddies difficult maybe,but to him I'd say good luck and find a dog, who if tret well will love you unconditionally.
