This is an aspect of the pill that is a tough one to swallow. In the three years of actively practicing RP values and reading everyday, I have slowly lost contact or no longer associate with those that might hinder my progress toward self-improvement. Even among my closest friends I quickly learned that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

The weird part is, I don't actively see this transition. I think it's a slow, natural process, because when you gravitate toward hard work and do what most people won't, it gradually scares the rest away. Thankfully, ghosting allows for an influx of new friends and peers and ultimately a better network.

I like the way you describe TRP as "open source". It's definitely a meritocracy of ideas and I hope it remains that way. It's also no coincidence that feminists don't like meritocracy.

One of the most frustrating aspects of humanity to deal with is willful ignorance which is a specialty of feminists who would rather censor opposing views rather than debate.

Unfortunately many aren't ready. It's painful to see good guys and close friends ignoring the truth.

Hopefully time won't be too hard on them when the truth keeps coming back to shatter their propped up world.

It's a process. I am an old goat here; I figure that vast majority of the 150,000 members here are teenagers or 20-somethings rather than pushing 50 like me.

I started to unplug at age 18 well before we had the Matrix.

The question is, can a guy in his 30s or 40s be saved from himself?

I think that a lot of guys who have not unplugged will just live in their bubble. What it takes is something catastrophic, like a major case of divorce rape, for them to pull their head out of their ass.

The TRP truth is most people need to be lied to.

Marx said "Religion is the opium of the masses", people assumed Marx was saying religion was evil or bad. Marx takes on a whole different meaning of you view him as a guy who just wrote down his observations. As in you remove the good or bad judgement.

If you are in severe pain, opium is a good thing. The reality is most people can not deal with reality. If you put Marx's saying under this light it takes on a whole new meaning.

What I have found to be more helpful is to ask questions, for which Mr. Anderson will have to answer, instead of being convinced as the correct paradigm, so as to become Neo in the end. Morpheus then becomes the Socratic method of questioning, where Socrates is simply a crazy old man, who knows nothing, but simply explores logic.

The reality is that most men will only learn and accept red pill truths after divorce rape. In our space age, there is virtually no excuse to be ignorant about the true nature of women anymore. I never mention TRP even when the situation warrants it. I only apply red pill truths to my life.

The mistake here is the choice of material to start someone off on the journey.

Rather than going full-on RP, I HIGHLY suggest offering someone "Gateway" material instead, and thus far the book that I think suits this description best is Robert Glover's No More Mr. Nice Guy, which I've seen mentioned here time and time again.

I discovered the book back in 2009, on my own, and after devouring other, more well-known self-help materials, Glover's book completely blew me away. It introduced me to some very important concepts, such as taking women off the pedestal and owning and embracing my masculinity and my sexual drive. Glover understands and writes about how feminized and anti-male our culture has become, but he isn't as strident as many of the posts here.

In fact one of my closest friends is pretty Blue Pill in some ways, he knows about this sub, and we talk about it, but we can have substantive discussions about our differences in opinion because we've both read Glover's book, and can speak much of the same language.

The RP can be a shock to the system. Maybe the solution to help others is to give them a lighter dose.

I think a book like Dr. Glover's is a great place to start. No, I'm not a shill.

Luckily I got the pill at the perfect timing, right after such breakup which already made me see the RP truths. TRP just confirmed me that AWALT and I am not minsogynst to not repress my nature. My SJW self would probably never had accepted the reality, if there was no such breakup.

Being direct about things like this reminds me of how you must be COVERT, not overt. Use his own personal experiences to incite the anger phase by having him put 2 and 2 together. Initiate a sort of "inception" and every now and then prod it. Being direct will only incite anger in a negative form because it is seen as an "attack" on him, whereas if you just put an idea in his mind, you did your job, he just has to follow the bread crumbs and jump down the rabbit hole and see how far it goes...

I also have a friend who is a high profile, medium celebrity (3-5 million nationwide followers) who displays Alpha character traits in his medium, but has a very Blue Pill existence personally. His traits sound VERY familiar to your friend, and my attempt to open his eyes have been met with similar results. It seems celebrity status can really solidify ego based illusions.

Thanks for writing Rollo tomassi. The red pill is bitter. I Don't know anyone that actually takes step to improve them self. Whenever I actually share any self improvement or make suggest they say no. That's not for me. It's not possible. What I really should be focusing is getting an online business going to be able to walk away.

She we are professionals, women see it almost like a crime that we are enjoying our SMV peaks and they sure as hell get pissed when they see us with younger, less financially solvent chicks instead of the older career women.

I have never actively attempted to unplug friends or family, or show them rp material, and i probably never will. Sure, i like to drop the occasional nugget here and there, when it's needed and when people ask my opinion, but i don't go out of my way to actively spread rp gospel.

There are multiple reasons for this. First and foremost, it paints a big bright target right on your face and back that reads "MISOGYNIST" (or "MRA", or "MISANTHROPE", depending on current company). Because us humans like to put labels on things, people will identify you as a member of the previously mentioned groups, and your reputation will suffer.

Thus you're deemed a "fair target". Anyone who objects to red pill values will do their best to attack, shit test and pick on you. Because if you really care about something that deviates from socially accepted pursuits, people go apeshit and try to put you down. Faith and passion are dangerous things to have in an increasingly amoral world. Naturally, possessing frame, you will be able to shrug off people trying to get under your skin, but it nevertheless takes up precious time and brainpower you could employ elsewhere.

Finally and most importantly, the person you're trying to reach out to may not be ready or willing to listen to your advice. The OP is an excellent example why, but if you're on this sub chances are you know about the perils of listening to your ego and how hard it is to accept the truth. There is nothing you can do in these cases; but luckily for everyone involved, we live in the internet era. TRP is not the most "out there" thing there is, but if you really care about changing your life, you WILL find it - because as the saying goes, when the student is ready, the master appears.

A couple years ago, I tried unplugging 15 friends and family and failed miserably. The major reason was I still going through the anger stage and was self-destructive with alcohol the weapon of choice. Who was going to listen to a depressed loser? I shared the Rational Male and Black Philip clips (using laughter as a gateway) with them. No luck whatsoever at that time.

I did have two friends from that initial group come around to RP thinking. They only sought my advice after they saw me become successful with hot women. I was bringing HB8/9 to parties or successfully approach women while out with friends. Friends seeing you successful while they question their own failures was the gateway for them to TRP.

I'm very selective now in terms of offering advice on female nature. I have cousins in their early 20s who are more open to my friends in their 30s and 40s. They have incorporated some RP beliefs. Others, I will wait until they come to me or if someone is facing major struggles and his vulnerability will be conducive toward listening.

I do not talk to co-workers about this. Bit me in the ass a year ago.

I was introduced to TRP by a friend who was pointing out one small aspect of it. I am still not certain if the introduction was intentional or not.

It's still worth trying with guys. But slowly slowly. Gradually see how much info they'll swallow before giving them the full site intro. You don't have to be direct about it. Just see if they're basically on the right page or not.

It's still amazing to me how many really alpha IDGAF guys are prepared to get married or have hopes of settling down with a super special snowflake unicorn, even while their ex wives financially suck the life out of them.

That price is compounded when one sees men in one's life that one loves suffer unrelentingly because of their blue pill ways. My dad refuses to take responsibility for his health, happiness and relationships. His life has been hard, his childhood was hard and now I see no committed effort on his part to improve his lot, which he has the resources and time to do. My mom has even privately mentioned that I mustn't be shocked if she finds someone else.

How could I be? How could I not already be aware of her branch swinging nature and his burden of performance that has been unmet for years. She is sick of his neediness and fair enough. I actually want her to be happy.

I want to sit him down and explain. But to what end? The burden of performance on him will be too much to handle. He won't change and I will be outed. My greatest fear is that him or my brother commit suicide because they fail to take charge consistently for their mediocre lives and their depressions which they both refuse to see a professional about. I love them; but if Rollo can't do it for a semi alpha, how can I do it for an old dog and his lost son?

As Rollo says; I've got to be okay with that. I need to find a way to be independent from the outcome of the lives of the people that I care greatly for.

For everyone I've freed, comedy was always the first step, with the comedians that I exposed them to becoming more and more cynical, (Bill Hicks-> Bill Burr-> Patrice O'Neal/Black Phillip and Tommy Sotomayor).

Once I know through conversation that the barriers have been weakened, then I get them a copy of your first edition of Rational Male, (the orange/brown one) and highlight the section on SMV first, then the Iron rules next. Once they have finished those sections and fully grokked them, which I also check through conversation and behavior, I then prescribe the rest of the book. As of current, I've bought 18 copies of Rational Male.

When they thank me, like the great majority of them ultimately do, I give them a copy of Roosh's BANG, and the 48 laws of power a/or Tao of Jeet Kune Do by Master Bruce, depending upon what type of guy they are.

The entire process usually takes four to eight months.

Keep doing what you do because what you write is helping to make men's life and health better! The world at large might not know it but they don't need to. We as men know it and you and your writing will have a hallowed space in the hearts and minds of all that have learned from you. You are immortal. The guys I know are teaching their sons and I will be teaching my baby girl once she's old enough so that she can recognise RP men so that she can make the right choice.

Well, when you take into consideration how many people deny the irrefutable evidence of evolution then you begin to see how emotion trumps logic. Only 16% of US citizens accept the theory of evolution. And I would add that sexual beliefs are even more difficult to challenge than religious or political.

I understand the desire to help a man especially when you see the emotional pain tearing him apart and you know that you have just the medicine he needs (TRP). But unsolicited advice is just casting pearls before swine. More often than not they will resent you for it and even turn on you. It's better to just be the best you can be and if someone asked you for advice then you might be able to help them.

It sucks but empathy and compassion can get you in trouble. I fucking know this one as I always want to help people, especially guys getting played by women, but I'm getting better at biting my tongue and minding my own business.

I have experienced something similar, although he was not married. I remember when I subscribed to BP doctrines. It was as if I was becoming one of "those other guys", like that was a bad thing. It always felt like I was doing some "wrong" or "immoral"

The redpill is a wonderful gift only to those willing to receive it. Not everyone is ready nor is able to wake up to it.

But to those who do accept it, it is a godsend. My current buddy who is 42 and out of prison is very redpill, he just hasn't heard of it. We talk "women" on a very redpill level. I describe theories and truths to him and they all make sense because he's witnessing it first hand.

He's doing well for himself. Banging a 24 year old whom he is steady with but doesn't call her a girlfriend. He's seeing the truth how plating someone like that has raised his smv sky high and it scored him side pieces.

I intend to encourage this behavior. Give him all the redpill reinforcement he needs which is never marry, keep options open, she's only temporary, don't live together, ect.

Basically. Redpill advice is the best male advice you can ever give a man. But not all men are open to it. Even if you are not alpha yourself, the least you can do is help mentor someone else to maximize their potential.

Be the teacher, and watch your student succeed.
