Women who falsely accuse are such a tiny percentage and are overrepresented in the media. There is a push by the media to downplay how serious rape is. Why on earth would that tiny percentage of liars become his main focus? Because he hates women that why.

I used to do work for a nonprofit to help victims of rape. Fake accusations make up 3-8% of total accusations according to the NSVRC. Even if victims lie, it's usually to PROTECT the perpetrator because the perpetrator is usually someone the victim knows. The majority of sexual assaults, an estimated 63 percent, are never reported to the police. But this redditor doesn't care about the statistics or facts (even though men are LoGiCaL). He only cares about perpetuating the culture of victim blaming. I seethe with anger when I see comments like this because most rapists never face any justice while the socioeconomic and biological/psychological consequences for the victims are devastating.

I was replying to a post in another forum and it came to me that men who want women to be punished for 'false' rape accusations are actually calling for women to be punished for using our legal system as intended. Just imagine a world where 1/2 of the population could get locked up because they didn't make a compelling enough argument in a court of law that is filled with mysgynists.
