Ugh. I feel you on this one. I was talking to someone who seemed pretty nice and was open to being friend just like I wanted. But then he became overeager to meet me and asked to meet up in a public space while we are still on lockdown. Of course I gave a firm no.

When guys like this go from being chill one moment to overeager the next, it just reeks of desperation and that is the biggest turn off ever. I tried but I can't ever look at him the same again and just had to stop talking to him altogether.

Stop giving them so many chances. After his first request, you knew what he was after. Even if you decided to give him the chance to shift strategy, the next time he asked you should have just blocked immediately.

Also, POF used to be referred to as Plenty of Felons a few years ago, and from what I hear, it hasn’t improved at all. Check out Bumble, Hinge, Match, or OKCupid instead maybe.

That is what I do when they don't listen. They often pretend they don't get. I call it Male Manipulation. You have to call them on it.
