God i feel terrible for such women. Having standards is ok...but expecting the bare minimum seems too much. I mean expecting a dude to share, it doesn't even have to be a date. It's the lowest expectation

I was raised with the type of manners in which this would not be acceptable, on a date or otherwise. "Hey, I'm going to grab cake pops too, would you like?" is pretty baseline good etiquette.
Eating in front of your companion without asking if they would like some is rude and shows a major deficiency of social skill, full stop.

Shut up, Cornelia Grey. Having some basic human consideration for your date isn’t “catering”. Is that how conditioned to excepting scraps women are getting?

Emotional intelligence is totally overrated anyway, right? /s 🤦♀️

The lack of manners! If you want two cake pops that’s fine, but come back with three so your date has one too. It’s not about being entitled to someone else’s deserts. It’s the lack of basic manners in helping yourself to something in front of another person without offering.

Yes my exact thoughts!! Or he could’ve said “hey i’m going to grab a cake pop too, you want one?” and if she said no and then came back with 2 for himself then the whole weirdness factor is gone!! Usually when I get coffee and i’m getting the bill (usually for my friends or something) i always say “you want anything to eat?” because i know i’m going to get myself something and i don’t want it to be awk!! I usually hate asking for more, even when i’m out to eat with my family (and especially people that are not my family) i feel kind of obligated to ask the person who’s paying if i can upgrade a side or get an appetizer (you know, common curtesy!) so it’s not like when the guy said “would you like a coffee?” she’s going to say “yes i want __, and grab me __ too!” that’s rude!

I treat my friends better than that lol. Do these women find themselves attractive? Because I don’t understand how a woman could consider herself appealing and accept this.

Even a fuckin' cake pop is too much to ask, according to Pickme logic. Still, Cornelia's inbox is most assuredly empty, as is her social calendar.
[–]TurtleDive1234FDS Newbie42 points43 points44 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Doubtful. She probably has PLENTY of guys in her inbox b/c men love women like her. She's "easy." She'll take whatever scraps they give and be happy about it.

Omg. If you read the thread he also asks her if she can have kids because her eggs aren’t getting fresher.
Anyone who has a child with him is pickme10000.

Does he realize sperm gets old due to cloning? Sperm is low value. Eggs have more genetic integrity.

Cornelia Grey doesn't know one thing called POLITENESS.
[–]yourfavoritezoomerFDS Newbie49 points50 points51 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lmao is she dumb? It's straight up disrespectful to stuff your mouth while the person YOU invited is just sitting there, regardless of gender.
[–]woadskyFDS Newbie13 points14 points15 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So bold. He is pretty much announcing that he's selfish and that he has no interest in a relationship. Actions speak louder than words.

Literally most human beings who have any sense of manners and respect will offer someone else their food if they are the only ones with food in front of them... it’s just common decency.

cornelia grey sure does sound like a TIM name... alongside the speech pattern and what may be a male pattern jaw

To call a cake pop DeSsErT is so extreme
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Who wants to eat a cake pop that isn't 5 anyways
[–]cottoncandydr34msFDS Newbie28 points29 points30 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
this conditioning is too much
[–]onemoredaydreamFDS Newbie4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I saw that!
This guy was clearly trying to neg her, or some other weird PUA shit. It's just a vibe that I got SO CLEARLY from her descriptions.
I'm glad this went viral, I hope he feels like a douche.

Right, like "Alpha male eats first! Alpha doesn't share his cookies!" or some similar bullshit.

Cake pops. Chewing gum, mints...wow, so lvm. Cake pops. So fucking lame.
[–]Acidic_xxFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Cornelia has been groomed to think accepting degrading behavior is worth a high-five! Anyone want to give this pick-me a high-five? Anyone?

Good luck with that, Cornelia
