I heard she read THE RULES. Still the greatest audiobooks ever- the rules 1&2. And not your mother's rules.... At first you might hate them but you can never un-hear them... It's how to not blow it with a new guy in the early stages of dating , how to respect yourself and how to tell if a guy's REALLY into you..I occasionally break "rules" but it's more for the first month or two of dating to weed out the losers

I heard there were systematic behaviors of hers over time and featuring multiple people that has put a taint on her character. Some thread on here that was about her and people were discussing. I think the one with the video of her husband talking her up or something at a gathering?

I don’t buy it. She’s a very powerful woman of color and has been unfairly criticized.
The press was recently caught with their pants down, when their biased behavior was laid out for all the world to see.

I'm glad that you posted that as it will be a point tonconaider for those who had their doubts about her.
However their doubts had less to do with media headlines and more about her life story and history with other people, not the crown.
I will find the post if I can. I'm a bystander who hasn't yet enough information to make an informed decision.

She’s an FDS Success story.
From what I’ve seen of her father and his kids, I would have ditched them too. You’re not forced to be part of a group you were born into. You’re free to level up, and make a new life for yourself as you see fit. Her mother, on the other hand, seems to be full of grace.

Her family is evil, aside from her mom. Constantly complaining that Meghan doesn't confide in them, Meghan doesn't invite them to the wedding, Meghan does this and that, when THEY are the ones who go running to tabloids whenever she does anything. I can't fucking stand them. They're all disgusting leeches who love complaining about her because DailyMail probably tosses them a tenner for every "Meghan is a diva" thinkpiece they choose to participate in. OF COURSE Meghan doesn't want her attention-seeking, fame grubbing sister or her alcoholic father or her wife-beating brother at her wedding!!!!!! The fact that their reaction was to go to the press and not to reflect on their behaviour is proof that Meghan was right in disinviting them.
Edit: Funny how the only family member she's close to (her mother) is the only one that doesn't run to the press tattling when Meghan gets a hangnail. It's almost like Meghan loves and appreciates the ONLY family member who isn't a fame-hungry narcissist. It's almost as if her disgusting father, brother, and sister are the ones pushing her away 🤔

Meghan begged him to walk her down the aisle up until the last few days before the wedding when Harry finally asked prince Charles to step in and do it. Didn’t he pretend to have a heart attack or something? Good grief! The father is truly despicable. Also his other kids did everything possible to drag her and embarrass her. They’re desperate for cash. It’s unreal. Clearly not good people and she was 100% correct to keep away from them.

Her father literally called the paps so they could get pictures of him looking sad while googling Meghan's name to keep up the whole "Meghan is an evil shrew who turned her back on her working class upbringing!!!!" narrative.
They should be fucking GRATEFUL that Meghan gave them careers. They'd literally be unknown trailer trash if she hadn't started dating Harry. If Meghan died tomorrow, as soon as the news cycle moved on they'd be back to being the unknown losers that they are. Meghan's sister Samantha is estranged from her ENTIRE family (including her kids) yet she wants to blame Meghan for the rift. Her brother held a gun to his ex's wife's head and neither of them had spoken to Meghan in nearly a decade by the time of the wedding.
Meghan and her mothers are the only people in the family that aren't huge pieces of shit.
You know what I think? I think Meghan got the role on Suits and her family expected her to give them money. They've all filed for bankruptcy before, and with the narcissistic, entitled way they're acting right now it wouldn't have surprised me if they also felt entitled to her Suits income. She probably said no and that's why her brother and sister didn't speak to her for 7-8 years (Suits premiered in 2011). She probably gave some money to her father though. It's all about money for them. Pathetic.

I listen to NYT’s The Daily podcast and today’s episode had a quote from her about how no one in the royal family has asked her if she’s okay. That’s such a basic question. If big things are happening, your family should be asking if you’re okay. That’s the basic, lowest bar possible.
