Oh my god yes. I’ll never forget this one particular incident.

I was at work, helping a customer. I was 18 at the time, and helping a customer who was in his 40s. I had braces at the time and he wouldn’t stop talking about how in a few years I would “fill out” (whatever the hell that means) and how I would “look so hot without the braces”. I literally feel sick to my stomach every time I think about it.

I'm not comfortable with it. My comfort range is around 7 years younger or older. For some idiotic reason, guys in their 50's and 60s act like they actually have a chance. Yeah, I don't date people that could be my kid or my parent. I like being able to relate to people I date.

A couple months ago I stopped by a Redbox to return a movie on my way to the gym. It only takes about 30 seconds to insert the disk and walk away, and in that time, an older man a ND a young guy walked out of the store that the Redbox was in front of and said "DAMN!" I looked at him surprised and put off, and he gave me a gross smile and elbowed the younger guy saying "she likes it! She likes it!" The younger guy looked embarrassed and started pulling the man away, but I felt so uncomfortable and gross. I was just in running shorts and a t-shirt.

Yep, it's always gross. I remember when I was a teenager I found it beyond gross when 30-year-olds would hit on me. Now men in their 30s seem normal because they're my age. Older men are still gross. Young men are babies.

It really grosses me out when men more than 5 years older than me hit on me, because of the fact that I look way younger than I am. I just hate how men have this entitlement that they should all be able to get a woman significantly younger than them instead of going for a woman their OWN age.

Men are inappropriate disgusting creeps. I was hit on my entire teens and 20s by older creepers. My bosses, teachers, even my father's freinds, so disgusting. Some of them would even hit on me in front of their wives, or offer me money, ugh. One of my bosses used to stalk me, he would show up in his boat on the lake outside my house and call me on my days off, if I tried to say I was busy he would say "no your not, I can see you sunbathing on your deck, come out on the boat", fucking gross. I felt like I had to go or I would lose my job. I loathe older men that do this shit.

Now that I'm older I constantly get hit on by younger guys, probably looking for a sugar momma or to fulfill their milf porn fantasy or whatever. If one more of these idiots tries to brag about "how long he can last cause hes a hot young stud" I'm going to puke. Ya, how about you actually learn how to have sex first before torturing some poor women with an hours long marathon of shitty porn jackhammering. I'm just so over men.

I feel the same. The huuuge problem is men who are grossly old to me visually are also men who are good for me in terms of maturity. Men take a lot of time to mature. I almost feel violated when men 10 years older than me think I'm available to them.

I’m close to your age (a bit younger) and in my opinion the difference is that the guys our age who send creepy messages like “I wanna suck your toes” aren’t really predatory, they’re gross and have a fetish, sure, but they’re upfront about it at least. There’s no manipulation involved.

An older man hitting on a girl with a “hey” night not be saying anything creepy, but what are his motivations? Is he looking for a young girl to manipulate? Is he misogynistic and only wants a young woman despite his own age? Is he so creepy and manchild-ish that he’s unable to find a partner in his age range?

You can make an argument that older men & younger women can make normal couples when they meet naturally and their relationship develops from a platonic level first. But there is NO good reason for an older man to actively SEEK OUT younger women. Not one.

At least the toe suckers just have a thing for feet.

(To clarify by older/younger I mean a decent sized age gap — I don’t think a guy being a couple years older (4 max in your 20s?) is weird.)

Not really lol. I really think age is just a number, I’ve met men in their 40’s more lively and full of energy compared to guys my age. I’m 25. However for dating, I don’t like to go over the late thirties. Currently seeing a guy who is 35, he literally looks my age though. We’ve been on six dates so I’m not sure where it’s going yet, but I really like him.
