One of my beloved teachers from the early 80s just died and there was an outpouring of fond memories, etc., etc. It took a great deal of restraint from me not to remind everyone she had been sleeping with several of her male students on a regular basis. When I found out, I was completely shocked and could no longer face her, even though I was her teachers aide and ran her errands in her car. The guys were very boastful and pretty proud to be in her favor.. no shame there.

I know it was a different time but abusing your position of authority with minors is never ok. If it had been a creepy guy everyone would have been up in arms, but since it was an attractive popular woman it was swept under the rug.

They claim that abuse is more likely against women and girls by men and boys, but a lot of it is due to women and girls being more likely perceived as victims and more likely to report same activity (compared to gender switched) as abusive.

When girls or women are abusive they are more likely to be ignored or punished less (compared to gender switched), when exposed, especially if they were in some way joining in on abuse (as secondary abuser), like if she's "carried by the current" and has no influence on anything, especially when it's not flattering.

Also men and boys are more likely to be ignored or ridiculed or in other ways marginalized or nitpicked, when talking about being abused, to essentially victimshame them. They are more likely to be seen as abusive themselves if they defend themselves or stop caring about both the abusers and the people who've been ignoring it.

Guys get shamed and abused for not fitting in in some way or if they're seen as perverted or not pleasing/being courteous to a wamen, like she's some sort of special legal class, and this abuse of guys is normalized and decriminalized (compared to gender switched), because simps have biased empathy. Here it's no longer about rights and freedoms it's about ignoring them and adjusting them based on female attraction, tribalism and gynocentrism.

For those who always bring up the 'rape' thing. (Please try to have some context here, make an effort to read and understand what I am actually saying before you react emotionally and reach for that downvote button.)

The problem with using rape comes down to a stupid technicality, where rape is defined as involving some kind of penetration.

From the wikipedia page for rape:
" Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration carried out against a person without that person's consent. "

So technically she would of had to have penetrated the poor girl with something for it to be actual rape. e.g if she had stuck a dildo in her victim then she would be a rapist.

Even a male sex offender isn't a rapist unless they penetrate their victim.

Need to change the definition of rape if you want news outlets, and even the law, to use it when referring to female or even male sexual abusers who haven't 'penetrated' their victims or we need a new word that is as impactful as rape is.

It might seem stupid but this is why we have words with specific meanings and why when it comes to the legal system the way words are used matters. Wrong term used can get some scumbag off on a technicality as history has shown too many times.

You charge someone with house burglary when they actually stole a car, well they're gonna walk.

What we really should be outraged about is when they use terms like "had an affair with" or "engaged in a sexual relationship" to describe the criminals interaction with their victims, when sexual assault, sexual abuse, etc should be being used. Things that down play the perps crimes.

End of the day, no matter how much you complain and think it is wrong, the fact is unless there is penetration, and as long as the word rape has a specific definition you'll never see these crimes listed as rape, even when a man is involved.
