A common misconception that some (not all) feminists have is that patriarchy was made to give men privellege, which is simply not the case. Patriarchy was made to split crowds in two and tell them what they could and couldn't do. If you failed to meet the criteria, you were a disgrace and if you tried to fight against it you were ridiculed. Naturally, this didn't end well and protests arose.

I personally believe the main reason feminism came first was because it's empowering to show how everyone is underestimating you whilst it's embarrassing to say everyone's overestimating you. Nobody likes to admit that they're weak, but everyone wants to show off their potential. Feminism was a nessicary movement, but it only cuts off one side of the system. It's time we started to help the other side of the oppression to move forward as a society.

I don’t know personally I believe most people choose partners for an overall package. It’s all about compatibility. I refused men who were very wealthy in the past because they were simply not compatible. Financially if I am having 2 million, I can’t go out with a dude with 200million. He’s going to places I can never afford. I can never reciprocate or contribute in a relationship. I don’t particularly find that sort of relationship healthy.

I’d rather find a man same as me having around 1-2 million and we can combine our resources together to build a better future. Life is much more interesting that way in my opinion.

You choose to love someone unconditionally. No one is deserved to be loved unconditionally. women or kids are loved unconditionally? I don’t think so and I disagree. As I don’t love kids unconditionally neither do I love women especially I am heterosexual.

This post makes it clear that both genders are objectified. Men for their earnings and women for their looks.

Clearly there are a lot of residual effects from a society that men were the earners and women were just supposed to look pretty. Hopefully that continues to shift as women become more and more successful in the workforce and we get to a point where people care more about character than looks or money.

Anyone who sees this post and graph and thinks it represents the objectification of men and men only is kidding themselves.

Men are objectified for their financial potential and women are objectified for their physicality.

This sub is SO quick to say women aren’t objectified and moreover than men do not objectify women, and then when data posted by one of their own members shows that women are in fact objectified by men for their looks, everyone completely ignores it. Men’s rights in a nutshell I guess.

Men’s rights and this sub says they want men’s problems to no longer be ignored- but they turn around and do the same to women. Be the change you want to see.

And also. How can anyone know what the causes of suicide are? Suicide and the reasons one takes their own life are far too nuanced and with many people completely unknown.

I question the legitimacy and accuracy of this entire post.

If men accept the responsibility of providing for women their whole lives and divorce courts enforce that provision even after divorce, doesn't that make us slaves?

I know you like pussy and all, every straight man does, and it's comforting hoping when you're young and broke some stacy might eventually take you if you work hard enough and stack up some cash, but how is it right half the Earth's population has to be yoked to the wheel for life, to protect the other half from the horror of having to earn their own money?

If you know any young single women who do have to earn their own money, they are cheap as fuck, trying to get everybody else to pay their way.

While I like Chris Rock and this is a funny bit, it's not true for the most part in today's society. Parents don't conditionally love their children in most cases. Wives don't conditionally love their husbands in most cases. If your wife loves you on the condition you provide for her and everyone in your family, she doesn't love you. Gold diggers and sugar daddies like another commenter brought up are a perfect example. I don't think many people will look at that and call it love.
