I think of myself as an objective man who looks at both sides of an argument. That is why I prided myself in being subscribed to both r/MensRights and r/Feminism Until I commented on this thread.

You can read it and even see the comments I left, but none of them were derogatory or flaming anyone. I was simply expressing my opinion and disagreeing with one lone egg in the thread whose opinion I vehemently disagreed with. Ironically, my opinion was the same as everyone else. I was even upvoted multiple times while the person who made the original comment was downvoted multiple times.

The message I received gives no reason as to the ban and the only reason I can come up with is that the original commenter got mad that I was rebuking her statements and messaged the moderators to ban me which they did.

I apologize if this came off like a rant, but I had to get this out as I'm very frustrated at the level of hypocrisy coming from some feminists. I hope here at r/MensRights we rise above that and let people have their opinion, man or woman, without banning them.

EDIT: After messaging the moderators to ask why I was banned I received this: "You have been temporarily muted from r/Feminism. You will not be able to message the moderators of r/Feminism for 72 hours." Apparently muted means that "Moderators can mute people who are harassing them via modmail. Muting temporarily prevents this person from sending modmail to the subreddit."

I didn't know that literally asking "Why was I banned exactly? I'm assuming this is related to the thread I posted in recently. All of the other people in the thread agreed with my opinion so I'm very confused as to why I would be banned" counts as harassment and required me to be muted. I just love suppression of free speech, don't you? /s
