One reason is men don’t want a woman that gave herself to a bunch of men. It should be exclusive. High bodycount also means she was slutty or got played on by many men. It’s disrespectful for the guy to commit towards a high body count woman. Usually it’s low value men that only have options with high bodycount women. But men don’t want to be low value.

I think women do know bodycount should matter. But they find ways to cope to not feel as worthless/insecure in society.

It doesn’t. I know the infidelity rates by n count are often brought up here as well as the whole pair bonding thing which idk if it translates to a human model well, but I haven’t read it in depth. What matters more to me is how someone treats me and if they don’t value me as much as previous partners, or don’t put in equal effort into the relationship.

I think it's fine for both men and women to want a partner with a low body count, there is nothing inherently good or bad about it. It depends on the individuals values and if you value sex as more than just...well sex... and consider it to be something deeper than that it's fine to have standards for your future partner. It will most likely lower your dating pool, but that's on you.

There are plenty of women who don't want to date a man who has a high body count, and as radical as it might sound - that's fine, it's THEIR choice. There is nothing wrong with seeking a partner that shares your values.

A woman's N is a proxy for other things, other problems that ruin LTRs.

1) She will always compare you to her prior men. Women tend to have better men when younger, and the quality and caliber of men available to her decreases as she ages.

2) High N = damage. The higher the N, the more baggage she brings. High N women tend to have mental and emotional problems. Doesn't matter what the cause is; the point is that high N in women corresponds to mental and emotional problems. 3) High N = disease and infertility.

4) High N = predilection to cheating and ending relationships. A high N woman has almost always cheated on a prior man. If she cheated before, she'll do it again.

You cannot ever know if a woman will cheat. Right man, right time, right circumstances, low risk of detection = she WILL cheat. The main reason women don't cheat is that they can't get those 4 factors to line up at the same time. It's not because of her sterling character; it's because she can't get everything to turn out how she wants.

N is a good thing for men. Women love men who can get other women to fuck them. A man who can get a lot of women to fuck him is a high value attractive man. (Women decide what men are attractive. Women decide what men are "high value" when it comes to sex.)

Part of the reason I think it doesn't matter for men is because women don't make it matter. Never heard a woman say they wanted a virgin man or that sleeping with multiple women makes them feel like a 2nd choice or whatever else.
