No. Only income does. Go by your pay stubs and tax returns.

If you inherit a rental property? And that rental property generates revenue and you claim that on your taxes as income? Your child support goes up by that.

If you inherit $250,000 in a bag o' cash. It won't have any effect on your CS obligation. Not unless there are arrearages on your CS obligations and then it can be garnished from your bank account.

My exs family put it in a trust for him to protect him from his now ex wife. I don't know if that's possible where you're from. We are in Canada so I don't know the rules. Maybe ask your lawyer if this could work for you.

Income declared is considered for CS. Anything not declared has to be contested and almost never forced
