Guess I just wanted to type my thoughts out and get any fellow guys perspective.

Just turned 30, wife is 28 and we’ve been married for almost 8 years, together for 11. She’s made up her mind on setting sail on her own to learn to be happy by herself. She’s not financially prepared in anyway and works in a restaurant so I’m just going to take a huge hit as expected. I’ve definitely been second in her life this year with her friend groups and going out lifestyle that has just gotten out of control. I’ve definitely been miserable and upset but I still can’t help but love her. I know I deserve better but it’s a shit feeling that she wants to give it all up even though she still loves me and is determined to fill a void that’s inside her.

I know being married young didn’t help as we grew in different ways but i am by no means looking forward to rebuilding. Divorce has always been a trigger for me as my dad was divorced 4 times, remarried 5 times and mom divorced once, remarried again. I’ve given this girl everything and I’m just at a loss.

I will say the stories shared on this page of finding love again are inspirational, so thanks for sharing.
