I didn’t want this divorce.

But I didn’t get a say. Or at least what I wished at first wasn’t considered.

It was probably for the best as I was so struck with grief that I couldn’t see just how terrible the marriage actually was.

I blamed everything on myself. That was incorrect.

Both myself and she had a part in it. She can’t see her faults…..but THAT DOESN’T MATTER.

I’m just ready for this to be over with.

I’m ready to be done as much as possible with this woman.

We have kids together so for at least the next 8 years I will have to deal with her somewhat……but outside of that she is a nonentity.

This is what she wanted and this is what she will get.

If you are still devastated over your split, I need you to know that you will eventually start to heal.

It doesn’t mean you’re going to be friends with your ex… but as someone on here pointed out previously, the opposite of love is not hate. It’s indifference.

You need to stop concerning yourself with anything that has to do with her (outside of kids).

I wake up every day and I’m blessed to have that day.

My divorce still is not finalized, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t try to carve out a life for myself even during this time.

The separation/ divorce did not kill you.

You are still here for a reason.

Find that reason and prosper.

For me, God is very slowly showing me what he wants me to do.

Above all, don’t give up!
