Let’s break the cycle and teach our sons to not marry women that aren’t financially equal to them and do not let their wives to be a SAHM. If women stand to lose just as much, they will think hard about divorce.

Nope. Women get more parenting time than men because of status quo. Status quo is the greatest bias of the court. And who allows and supports the status quo? Men, because they're playing by the old set of rules with conventional roles.

I initiated my divorce with my wife of 14 years and 2 small kids. I pay no child support, no spousal support and have 50% parenting time. All because I didn't allow her to sit on her ass as a SAHM after the kids were born. She worked 40 hours a week, and made good money.

Though, hear me out :

Women that don't secure amd keep a life partner will be single, for life.
Their value (face value) decreases as they age.
Men marry who they want, when they want. Women divorce when they want, but remember the first part of this sentence, they forget it having secured a guy before thinking it's gonna be that easy next time.

A 50 year old man can still get 25 year old women, the same cant be said about a 50 year old woman.

Society gives women far too much power, but biology cannot be beaten.

39F here. Married. My husband says he wants a divorce but has not lifted a finger to actually file. The torment of not knowing exactly what day your husband will decide to flip your families life upside down is what makes women file first.

My ex actually profited from the divorce and came out of it better than ever while I suffered a downgrade in quality of life for a bit. Until reform is done to where divorce is not a winning lottery ticket for women to screw over a man when things go south, it will be the same for many guys I fear.
