Absolutely outing myself as a weak ass here but someone just recommended this sub to me yesterday and I've been browsing non stop. Why didn't anyone tell me before this that I didn't have to pretend to like things to get boys I don't like to like me?

I think there's a difference in people who smoke pot and people who smoke pot. I smoke pot. I'm not blazing all day everyday 420 lalala. I've been with guys who were the same. I've also been with guys who'd freak out of they ran out of it or couldn't have it. Those people are intolerable.

Omg this. I had a few ex-friends like this- I legit couldn’t stand them after a while. ALL THEY EVER DID WAS SMOKE WEED and well just get progressively fatter/older. Oh and talk about how much they hated their jobs. So boring!!

I was with a guy once who jumped out my second story window because he wanted a pack of cigarettes so badly. He wasn't supposed to be at my house (young, dumb) and couldn't bear to go without a fucking cigarette for 12 hours

I personally like to dabble myself and have met a few HVM who do the same, but I’ve also met guys who are straight-up mentally addicted to it, and it reflects on their lives. If a guy is asking in his first message about weed, that isn’t a good sign, imo.
Weed isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but I can see why it would be for others even if they don’t mind weed itself. A focus on or obsession with weed can be a common sign of general life problems.

If you shoot for guys who don’t do any drugs you’re very unlikely to date someone who does drugs like everyday

I'd rather my partner be stoned than drunk because they tend to be less aggressive however I wouldn't want a partner stoned every day in the same vein I wouldn't want a partner drunk every day. I find that stoner men are never really "there" or listening so what's the point having them as a partner?
My ex got so addicted to weed he failed his Uni. I told him it was a deal breaker before we got together. He started smoking again even though he reassured me he wouldn't because it ruins everything.. well, yep, ruined our relationship.

It’s all up to personal preference. If you do, good for you! I just know that personally, I have a very sensitive nose, and that pot stink really turns me off. Not to mention there would probably be pressure for me to smoke with him, which I’m not interested in doing. Remember that this sub is just a guide book for discovering your own dealbreakers and setting boundaries for yourself, which will always vary from person to person.

I’ve met one and I’m 52. He and his wife are both attorneys. They keep that kind of stuff infrequent, weekends only, and not around people who don’t partake. I’ve known them 20 years and i have never witnessed them partaking. I wouldn’t know they did unless they told us. But i never did like pot particularly because growing up i never met people who did it who were better off than me or that i wanted to be like.

Maybe it’s about age? I am in my early 30s, professional, any men I run across in my daily life already have their shit together so if they smoke pot, at least means they’re not gonna be running with the boys at the bars all night

Depends on the kind of pot too. Something like sativas I think improves your focus. Some people take it to be more productive.

It's a complete dealbreaker for me!Love how low effort the Ye Was he didnt even get a full yes. I personally dont smoke, if people want to that is their choice. Just like alcohol ne careful when a man says he smokes weed or drinks, because you dont know if they have an addiction. It's one think to smoke or drink socially but it's another thing when it's an addition or they are just being a lazy LVM who sits around all day, plays video games and gets stoned/ drunk all the time. Know your stance on alcohol and weed and keep this in mind.
