My level up surprises even me. Lost a life-changing amount of weight after battling with it for my entire life, gained a ton of muscle, took care of finding therapists, doctors, dentist, and gyno after having neglected my health since I was a teen, threw out my entire drab wardrobe that made me invisible and replaced it with all the cute designer stuff I used to feel guilty about wanting, went to get my Masters, and finally learned how to put myself first and enforce boundaries without tolerating that which makes me uncomfortable.

I just can't believe how far I've come, and I have my ex to thank for being my catalyst. Originally fueled by rage to make him regret casting me aside, it gave me enough focus to better myself and made it that much easier to let go of the resentment, because no one who makes me feel small deserves any space in my heart.

I remember after my last breakup I stopped tripping. 10 months and he broke up on the phone. NVM ex told me to leave him alone so I did. I didn't go back. He had the audacity to tell me he found a new girl who "treats him better" than I ever did. Never got my stuff back from him. He didnt wish me well for the future and told me to fuck off. I called him out for lying compulsively and said I thought he was different lol.

Even 2 months later, when he made a fake profile of me on a dating app and put my mobile number on the bio and photoshopped my photos. This also caused a weirdo to call me on a private number and harass me for a whole week and still now and then ffs. I work in the public sector so having my mobile number out there is VERY dangerous.

I didn't get mad. I didn't curse at him. I did ask him if he did it and obviously he denied so I hung up. It was at the police station where I sat in a puffy coat, red eyes and sobbing. I asked the police officer what he thought of the whole situation. The kind police officer said "It's obviously your ex, HoneyBouquet. This is not a Sherlock case. I'm sorry you have to deal with this." I filed a police report against him.

He knows he will never have a smart, beautiful woman like me again and it kills him inside.

Now I wouldn't even look twice at someone like him. Trash.

I'm glad he dumped me. I found FDS and started loving myself again.

I love this!!! We are so lucky to have choices now, as opposed to the lack that our mothers had and generations before, as well as women who are not in westernised countries.

Men always take breakups harder (well majority of the time) it seems to hit them later on though. With women we hurt in the beginning and move on quick.

My last boyfriend was insane. No prior abuse but one night he went crazy, punched holes in the walls. Chocked me, police were called by a neighbour thank god and he was arrested and had a restraining order put on then and there. He went mad. Was yelling my name. Ended up stalking me for over a year. It was terrifying.

I feel sorry for any women who fall into his trap. The girl after me had a kid with him (did the hole crazy stalk my boyfriend ex girlfriend to me) and low and behold. He pushed her down a flight of stairs.

Now he's with a 20 year old young woman. There should be a site to look up boyfriend ratings.

Yes! It’s the weirdest thing. I cried for one hour my last relationship. Called my sister over to talk shit. Wrote a list of pros and cons and when I noticed the cons list went on and on we both laughed our asses off. I knew I was tripping over nothing. Had a date two days later. Got into therapy. Took my first international trip to Italy and met my next man.

I love this and how we're always striving to better ourselves!

When my last ex broke up with me, I think I spent one day crying about the loss (not for him, I was relieved I wasn't with him anymore. But it still felt like a loss), then promptly blocked him on all avenues, and deleted him off my social media.

Same thing with the guy after that, who threw the "I'm not ready for a relationship but let's be friends" after a month of pseudo-dating (usually him coming to my house for a couple hours once every 1-2 weeks and just trying for a booty call). I told him that wasn't a good idea, thought about it for a couple hours, and then blocked and deleted him.

Felt so good both times and I went full force into taking care of myself and spending QT with family and friends.

Yep. I lost 23 pounds and I car another 20 to go before I hit my goal weight. My knees don’t hurt and I don’t get winded after walking up steps.
