Hello ladies, it's my first time posting so I hope I'll do everything right.

I just wanted to share my experience with a NVM to remind everyone that female intuition is real and we should all listen to it and prevent it from being suffocated by patriarchal gaslighting.

When I was in high school, there was this guy who took the bus with me every morning to go to school. His interest in me was apparent from the first time he saw me, as I could literally feel his stare every time I was around him. He added me on Facebook because we had some acquaintances in common - and of course, being the pickme that I was, I accepted his request. He started texting me randomly, and at some point he asked me out. I felt something was very wrong, so I always came up with excuses to reject him politely and not hurt his feelings (ugh). One day he told me that, since I was always busy doing stuff, he would come to my house so that I would be forced to go and get a gelato with him. I thought he was joking, but he DID turn up at my house. This guy knew where I lived. He "jokingly" threatened to ring the intercom, but I felt a mix of guilt and panic (I didn't want my parents to find out about this guy) so I gave in and told him that I would meet him outside. We went to get this damn gelato. He was quite charming actually, I had a good time, but something was still not okay. I couldn't wrap my head around it. For some miraculous reason, after that afternoon, he left me alone and never asked me out again. Plus he failed his classes and was forced to go to a different school.

Fastforward a decade: I've found out that this guy is now a convicted murderer. He brutally killed his employer, a lady who owned a farm and was very much loved by her community because she did a lot of charity work and helped underprivileged young people. Apparently he also abused the animals at the farm.

Always, ALWAYS trust your intuition. If I hadn't been such a pickme, and so naive, I wouldn't have gone out on a forced date with a psycho.
