Okay back in my OLD days this PhD student asked to meet for coffee. I agreed (🤦🏽‍♀️) and told him what time and the general area where I was going to be. Tell me why this man came back with oh there’s a McDonald’s there, here’s the address, let’s get an ice cream. A. McDonald’s. Ice. Cream. Would even a pick me go for that?? $1 ice cream. That’s worst offer than a walk date imo. He is lucky all I did was unmatch. Cause I wanted to dress him down or agree and not show up. Now when I see PhD student I have my eyes wide open.
