Yes, it's nice to be in a relationship with a guy who truly loves you. However, you shouldn't have your life revolve around a guy. And yes, I'm including HVM here.

The problem with having your life revolve around a guy is his actions is beyond your control. If you make him the centre of your universe, the way he treats you (which you have little control over) will influence how you feel. This is no good. You should be the most important person in your own life and how you feel should not reflect how your SO is treating you. It's also impossible to "prove" a guy is a HVM due to the philosophical nature of deductive reasoning based on his actions. It's hence a bad idea to make someone you can never 100% be sure is HV the centre of your universe as you'll feel lost if he becomes LV. Fully relying on a guy for finance and stability is similarly a bad idea given how he may turn out to be LV and it's hard to walk away if you depend on him for so many things.

And yes, having your life revolve around finding a HVM is not a good idea too. While it's nice to have goals in life, whether you find a HVM or not is beyond your control. Being HV yourself will maximise your chances of finding a HVM but there are not guarantees, and given how HVM are a minority, it's statistically unlikely for any woman to find a single HVM who loves her back. It's not a good idea to have your life revolve around achieving a goal that is unlikely to happen and beyond your control. It's not that different from how it's a bad idea to set winning the lottery as your main goal in life as that's very unlikely to happen and even if it does, it's beyond your control. Feeling you are unable to achieve your goals will lead to feeling helpless and that's not good for your self esteem.
