As a child of this porn- generation, I can only say: this is perfectly written! However, the kids do not feel this way because they do not understand yet why the hyper-sexulization of porn is bad for a person, especially a young one. Having so many terms for sexual activity is exhausting.

Like in online spaces being a "bottom" is seen as being a submissive, shy and girly person and being a top means that you're a dominant and daring person. When you can just be on top or underneath depending on the position, level of pleasure, and how tired you get??? Why make it a personality trait or a fetish?

From what I've observed in people who use that kind of lingo, it ends up limiting their sexual activity and enjoyment. Labelling everything in sex makes people try to fit in those labels instead of just doing what they want.

I’m glad people are waking up to this.

Let’s hope they’re of the same opinion when it comes to popular culture of sexualising and grooming underage girls. Which has, quite frankly, been going on for way longer.

When I was in school, pre internet/social media, being anything but hypersexual and all for it was looked down on by all peers in my year. I cannot imagine the pressure kids are under now to be the most kinky, have sex early and be the most experienced. Especially as sex ed barely covers stis/stds. There is no safe/consensual sex teaching. Kids are being led in blind to sexual assualt and experiences they are not at all ready for.
