This weak misogynistic joke with no actual humorous substance getting 2k likes in the comment section of that article is a perfect example of why I deactivated Facebook. An image of a woman, a woman's opinion, a woman's experience, anything about her. You'll find dozens of tryhards like this desperate for validation, and getting it cheap and easily by making low effort digs at pretty much any woman who has risked being in the public eye. And then you have the ones who are just outright belligerent scrotes literally incapable of empathy or coherent thought. Just straight up wishing violence and suffering on whoever their target is that day. I've reported SO MUCH of that crap over the years and I can count on one hand how many posts/comments were actually taken down. Meanwhile I copped multiple instantaneous bans by the ALGORITHM for saying innocuous shit like "men are trash" in a private group.

Facebook is largely just a weird oppressive echo chamber for and where L/NVM can at best get asspats for being unfunny, or at worst just deadass harass you and it still 'follows community standards.'

I think it's also very worth mentioning that they don't do jack shit about racism either, and the amount of vitriol I see put against black women specifically is so beyond fucking ridiculous. Just...ugh. It's a cesspool. This last year for me it quickly became wayyyy more effort than it's worth to just to try and enjoy the damn app. Yeet

Tbh, I don’t like the way this advice is phrased. Ideally, young women should focus on other things in life until they are older, the men are better (older men who are attracted to their own age tend to be slightly better, I agree), then look for a good guy. But the way this is phrased, you’ll have 20 year olds thinking they need a 33 year old man.

Why is Facebook fulls of racists an sexist alt right losers? Everytime I got on it I see alt right comments in a post about women rights. It can be a post about breast cancer awareness and I would see comments such as "what about men"
