Hobby groups! Try cooking classes, artsy crafty stuff, fitness related, whatever floats your boat. Also volunteering. It’s a great way to meet people and you already have something in common!

Wow three solid female friends sounds like a lot to me. I mean I guess I have around 6, but we are scattered across the country/world.

Once I’m less afraid of the delta variant I want to join some local groups and hopefully start making good friends that way.

I have also found since getting a dog I’ve made fellow dog-mom acquaintances. I’ve met them at dog parks, the vet, walks in my neighborhood etc. And my pup keeps me a lot less lonely.

Usually they find me. I’m an introvert and I always get picked up and carried away by extroverted women and make tons of friends like that. Connectors are a category of people you should seek to be around. They can do the social greasing for you!

Are you me? I was thinking of signing up for a class or a woman's only gym. I'm surrounded by men at work and I don't want male friends at this point in time, but I would really love more female friends.

I'm starting a new outdoor (yay safe socialization!) sport. Though membership is 98% male, I do know that a handful of women in my area participate. Here's to hoping I meet them, and to you finding friends the same way!

Volunteer. I have met 2 of my closest friends through volunteering. Also hobbies, even if it's a male dominated hobby there are informal women's groups within hobbies.

I joined a dancehall/afrobeats dance class. I've never met a friendlier bunch of women! If you're into dance it's a great way to meet people. Or else try book clubs or other groups which are likely to have a majority of women participants.
