I remember one about a woman who was dying and her disease was very degenerative. She found out her husband was cheating with rough BDSM sex at lunch time a few times a week but was HAPPY when she found a text from the other woman saying "i can't wait until she dies" and the husband defended his sick wife. I couldn't handle the toxicity of those relationship advice subreddits so haven't visited for a while. Just seeing that is going to put me off even longer. Also getting counter-arguments to sensibly written comments advising the OP that they're being mistreated, combatting what I've said with support for the other person in the party with "empathy"; "oh they're probably just doing this thing because they're not well", blah, blah, - ACTUALLY, jackass, that person is doing the thing to the OP because they don't give a fuck if it's hurting OP and it's not on OP to help them change, to walk them towards being a better person. Fuck those subreddits. They're so delusional sometimes.
