I’ve been talking to this guy for a few days on OLD. I thought he was a cute guy with a nice smile until my girl friends pointed out that one of his pictures has him and a girl that’s shaded out. Upon closer inspection, there’s a group photo and it looks like she’s the only girl in his group of friends. That’s usually a bad sign, right?

I’ve taken time to think about it and decided to unmatch and stop talking to him.

This isn’t the only reason why I unmatched. It’s the fact that he’d always hit me up at 11pm due to his work. I feel that with the profession that he’s in, it just doesn’t add up.

I’m proud of myself for just unmatching with him on whim and not giving an explanation. The old me would have questioned why he wasn’t speaking to me at an earlier time and would have been okay talking to him through the hours of the night. 🤡

EDIT: I just got a few private messages from men trying to “sweet talk” me by asking me to reconsider my decisions. No thanks. Moving forward, I’m not going to reply to any of these private messages (even if they’re from women).
