I mean, yeah...to them. Almost any mention of a woman on most places on reddit will develop into "jokes" about killing, maiming, raping, injuring or threatening women. And you'll always be asked to "lighten up" cause you shouldn't be tired of hearing and reading about "jokey" violence against yourself daily. When they bring out the tired old bullshit of what if the genders are reversed, that joke wouldn't bother them. First of all, that's a lie in a lot of cases. Second, the opposite can be funny because the likelihood of it happening in real life is so low. I'm not gonna laugh about male violence cause it's a reality.

Before finding this sub, reddit as a whole really kind of scared me for this exact reason. These freaks are just jerking eachother off and giving eachother rewards as they talk about threatening women's lives. Its not funny. If you point out that it's not funny to them, they'll get defensive and start dogpiling you.

It just makes me really happy to have found one special place on this shit site where I can speak freely without men being threatening and defensive and demanding I 'debate' them or whatever the fuck they do.

I don't understand this trope that people think women aren't friendly or don't make good friends. I've always had female friends and honestly some were good and some were bad and we're not friends anymore. Is there a reason this idea is so widespread?
