My mom helped a guy find paprika today in the store after she heard his poor wife on the phone with him. He told his wife he looked enough and was just not bothered to get it. Like sir..spice aisle and it says paprika.. what’s not clicking?

Have yall seen those memes of men buying pads/tampons etc for their women? they’d say things like “What’s your vag size?” I really don’t find those funny. being uneducated about women’s bodies isn’t funny or quirky. there are no excuses google is literally free, it’s 2020 for God’s sakes 😭

This is legitimately what i made (in a 'here's stick on ingredient pictures and a sheet with Velcro attachment point's' way) for my customers in the cooking classes. Difference is they have intellectual disabilities. So having the pictures available for them to see, and to reference while shopping, helps increase their independence.

That these need to be used for nondisabled men.... That's sad.

I once asked my ex husband to buy cheese on his way home from work. He came home with some rubbery, over processed vegan cheese slices. The thing is, we were living in Gouda at the time. Literally the Dutch town the cheese is named after. You'd think that if you live in fucking GOUDA that you wouldn't have to specify what type of cheese to buy.

I said this to my male friend and he got so offended at first but every. single. time I order from Shipt or Instacart and it's a guy doing the shopping there are numerous problems and zero communication. Sad truth, dudes.
