This is so heartbreaking. No woman should be forced to carry a baby if she doesn't want to. Being pregnant and giving birth come with significant health risks, and the experience is going to be extremely traumatic.

O. M. G this is NIGHTMARE MATERIAL!!! HE WANTS TO FORCE THIS PREGNANCY ON HIS WIFE, after being assaulted he actually wants his SO to carry on with the pregnancy. I CAN'T EVEN, I don't know where to start. She should be the one dumping him. Willing to force trauma over trauma he can go f*ck himself with a screwdriver. Nightmare material, LITERALLY. If your partner gets raped you do everything you can to support them and help them, and help them heal. If she has to carry the baby that's many more months she has to think about the fact she got raped by seeing her stomach, which is obviously not what she wanted (fair enough if the woman wants to keep the baby in this situation)

It's bad enough making your partner have your baby, but to make them carry the rapist's baby. Sheesh.

That's two men, the veteran and her partner who think they have power and control over her body, two men trying to take away her rights.

It's already an incredibly difficult time for her, and her partner goes putting this pressure on her to give birth to the baby or have more emotional troubles by her partner leaving her, blackmailing her after she got raped!

The "luckily she did a rape kit" sounds more like he wanted 'proof' she was actually raped than him being relieved they can catch the perpetrator.

Men have no business telling women what to do, especially when it comes to having children. Men aren't the ones putting their health at risk to deliver the babies. They're not the ones who will do the childcare. They're not the ones who have to live with the emotional scarring.
