I know SO MANY GODDAMN MEN who didn't start living an actual adult life until they got into a long term relationship because they literally couldn't afford to without pooling resources with a woman. They bash women who seek wealthy partners the same way i used to throw a tantrum when I was 12 because I was JEALOUS of lil Megan and her long hair 😭😭 that’s the thing, women outgrow their childhood and realise when they’re being ridiculous & projecting their own insecurity. The men who talk badly about gold diggers are the ones who aren't being used for their money. They don't like gold diggers bc the gold diggers aren't into them. Like I so rarely hear stories about men shoveling out their money to their s/o for her to not care about him at all and leave him for no reason. Only in extreme examples like 90 day fiance or in camgirl onlyfans situations where they have to pay for the fake relationship in the first place.

Good lord. Today a guy on my social media just ranted about how he bought a girl an expensive meal (we're talking mid 4 digits) and she never replied.

He's just setting himself up for failure. If the girl reciprocates, that's because she's a gold digger. If she doesn't, he does his whole niceguy act "but I bought her an expensive meal!!!"
